I don't think this would be interesting or challenging enough for a middle-grader. It was OK, but the language, tone, and pace were very basic.
I may change my rating (down, if anything) after I sit with this a bit. I have some serious reservations about Charlie.
If you read only one book about US politics between now and November 5, make it this one. [full review to come, but probably not before the election—you'll just have to trust me]
