Since I‘ve read (and cleared from my shelves) 94 books from my 2024 #Roll100 list, I‘ve decided to make two lists for 2025. I‘m going to have one list for audiobooks and a second list for physical & ebooks.
My goal will be to read 5 books each month at a minimum between the two lists.
I‘m participating for the first time in #roll100 next year. I‘ve decided that I want to use this challenge to tackle my Netgalley TBR. It‘s out of control. After my dog passed away on October 25, it only got worse because I added more books on to it. I haven‘t made my list yet but I still have time. I‘m hoping this will motivate me to read my Netgalley TBR because I haven‘t been in the mood to read any of the books on there.
bailedSad to #dnf this, but I just don‘t like it. The characters are not very engaging and just horrible things are happening to the women/female characters which I just don‘t wish to read about anymore. I think I will just jump to the Fitz & the Fool series and pass on the Rainwilds - which is generally disliked. #hailthebail

pickAn intriguing collection of Gay‘s personal essays ranging in topics across feminism, talking about race, sexuality, reproductive rights, sexual violence, & police brutality.
Such an intense read, that I had to take in small chunks, especially the section Gender & Sexuality. I found myself highlighting a lot. It‘s fascinating to see how feminism has evolved in the last 10 years, & yet how we are still fighting the same goddamned fights. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
