pickFast paced, action packed, dark and tense; but the ending was a real disappointment.

pickHazel has a new job as a tea lady for the Waterside Workers Union and gets caught up in the mystery surrounding the disappearance of some valuable cargo. I flew through this one, but I have to admit to being more invested in the activities of Irene, Betty and especially Pixie than in the main mystery.

Another great Matthew Shardlake novel (#SeriesLove2025) for #ShardlakeBR. Shardlake and Barak are after a most sinister killer who taunts them along the way. Meanwhile Henry VIII is in pursuit of Catherine Parr.
I created a reading challenge for myself on Storygraph in 2023 to help me finish series I have in progress where I started the first book but I never continued with it. I‘ve now completed 8 series and I just added 5 more prompts to my challenge. My goal for #serieslove2025 this year was to finish 3 series and I did it so I‘m gonna keep going. Each month, I will choose 1 series that I want to finish.
