Feeling this today. To echo what many others have already said, I didn‘t recite the Pledge of Allegiance every day in school for 13 years to now be called WOKE 😒 I‘m feeling grief for what happened yesterday. I cannot believe that this is the last six months for #192025 !
For the first half of 2025, I managed to read 4 more titles. I am determined to get as close to finishing as possible.
And for those interested, I will post the official announcement for #192030 , set to begin in January 2026 and run through December 31, 2030. Much like this current challenge, read one book originally published for each year, 1920-2030. ⬇️

I set up a Ring camera to be a nest cam because I wanted to see how Mom is eating, but so far she's not left and no one has visited (or at least no non-human has triggered the motion sensor).

Okay friends - I made it through all four days of ALA! Are you ready for the final number of ARCs (and a few already published) books I managed to snag? 170! 😂📚📚📚
My husband was NOT exactly thrilled when he saw how many books we now had to fit into our home! 🤭 To be fair though, I'm not keeping ALL of them! I'm bringing some of them back to my library for my coworkers! 💕
