If I say I‘m busy with my book club, this is what I actually mean. 🐶 #Gambit

From post dinnertime added suggested ppl that app suggested now shows who reading and tells u when they reading love it I read whole 4 hours to winner and now there over 70 ppl added and shows on game changer for me.

I will be starting the #JanuaryBluesReadathon with the last bit of Forever Odd. Then I‘ll be working on Roadwork for #LosersClub, and rereading Alice in Zombieland before starting the rest of the series.

Just like I don‘t read seasonally, I don‘t think I have a reading vibe? 😂

Like the vibe is always the same song on repeat, “read as many books as possible AND keep up with new publishing, but don‘t forget the classics AND read my own damn books”.

I‘m a boring person. 😆

#notbookrelated I spent the late morning and early afternoon with friends at the zoo. It was a nice break after spending the early morning looking at too much news coverage and crying. I didn't solve anything, but I got to build community, share some hugs, see meerkats, and celebrate the increased population of California condors in the wild since the 1980s when we learned in school about their near extinction. I sorely needed a bit of hope today.

A year long study into Jesus' life. I enjoyed it. I thought I knew a lot about Jesus and His time on earth, but doing this year long devotional I learned I didn‘t know as much as I thought. This would be a great year long devotional for anyone wanting to learn more about Jesus. It has daily scriptures, a recap, then questions to answer. I recommend it to everyone.

Haven't done much with it yet cuz I'm on my phone right now but it looks super cute. Follow me if u want. It's called Pagebound.

Last night, I counted my remaining books, and told my husband that I only have 409 left,… And it‘s really not even that much. He looked at me almost in disbelief, with a surprised look on his face and said 409 isn‘t really that much?! And he just laughed.

It's fascinating to be someone whose two main genres are romance and horror, because the amount of disdain I see going both ways is really shocking. I love to -feel- things when I read, so these two genres go hand in hand to me. Body genre!

3 years ago, I started a new job at my local library. I've loved every second of it, and in fact, it has inspired me to go back to school. I'll be starting classes next week to pursue a Master's in Library Science, and I'm very excited.

I've really missed connecting with everyone here on Litsy, and I'm hoping to be a bit more involved this year.

As I said in my previous post, I was largely offline since the beginning of the holidays. Imagine my (un) surprise of 47 acting VERY much like 43.
