I did decide to go for a short walk but didn‘t listen to anything because the quiet was so nice. Missy loved the snow.

I‘m always cold so I treated myself to an electric throw. I‘ve just tried it out and oh my my goodness, I‘m so toasty! Must getting old 😂
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a grand day! I will tag a few Littens to get us started; however, everyone is welcome to play.
My answers:
1. I dislike sitting all day. I prefer to move around especially with the lower back pain I have. I have tried standing desk and that is not a good solutions for me.
2. The first book that comes to mind is The Devil Wears Prada.

Friends - stop and pray, send positive energy. Our local high school is on lock down. Rumors of active shooter. Nothing confirmed. Every mother's and teacher's nightmare. I don't have one there, but I do have past students. Mcdowell
Ooops….I may have just brought another book 📖 🤪

A different take. My two favorite cartoonists AND authors of all time. It's not just their drawings that move my soul but their words as well. 🩶🖤🩶
Mountain Bean Dream by HM Shander, part of The Coffee Loft Series is full of cute puns. Molly and Jeremy's story is so cute and I love their interactions with each other. This was a really cute story and a sweet love story.
Book 6/100 of the year.

Help! Goodreads is totally messing up my books read count!
If I read a book on my kindle, it‘s counting the book twice! I don‘t have the setting turned on where it automatically updates my goodreads when I start and finish a kindle book.
It‘s only doing this on the challenge side when I finish a kindle book.
I don‘t know what to do to fix this…
#5JoysFriday @DebinHawaii
I‘ve been down and out this week with a pinched nerve happening at the same time as returning to office, but there were still joyful moments.
1) we‘re actually getting winter this year!
2) cats helping put Christmas away and sleeping in the sun
3) a beautiful sunrise
4) ice on the Potomac River
5) love my doctor- she always listens and tells me my weird symptoms make sense 😂
My 3 favorites from this list are:
1. Holes (I read this book in 7th grade English class and this was my favorite book that we read that year. I liked my teacher. She was actually my English teacher in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. One day, I found her on Facebook and we‘ve been Facebook friends since then.)
2. The Graveyard Book (I really liked this one.)
3. The Girl Who Drank The Moon (I also really liked this one.)

I think I can live with my result.
I try not to be too political on here, but one of my favorite authors, Silas House, current Poet Laureate of Kentucky, shared this on fb last week. Written by one of his friends, I feel it speaks to a lot of our feelings.

Creepy👀 I‘m already conscientious about locking doors at night, but this short story takes any form of vigilance to the next level.
As Mrs. Grayson continued to follow her nightly ritual of locking her doors and windows, I wondered if her obsession was more a sign of her growing short-term memory loss. Was there really a thing outside trying to get in?
I could see how the conclusion could be interpreted more than one way. Made this story a hit!
