This book is fun escapism. The banter is more enjoyable and the characters likeable and the plot moves quickly. Some obvious plot events and other twists keep the pages turning. I may not be a better person after reading it, but it‘s a great way to unwind and lose yourself in the Night Court for a few hours.

3.75 stars. I definitely thought the plot was more interesting and the romance was more intriguing than in the first one. I‘m not as emotionally invested as I am in, say, The Empyrean series, but I was entertained and I‘ll keep going with the ACOTAR books. 🎧

We were served a catered lunch at work yesterday and so I had to take a #booksandlunch photo. Yes, this is a re-read. Because I love this series. I am enjoying this series. I love this book, I felt like the characters have grown into their own. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

This book really allows the reader to settle into this series and expands richly and excitingly on the wider plot and looming threats on the main characters. Even the steamy bits were well written and avoided that cringey aspect that sometimes follows. I found it well paced, exciting and a bigger world with a rich, layered backstory was further revealed, which have left me reaching for the third book!

Lusty but lengthy. The beginning and ending of this book were great, but the middle was too drawn out. A tale of how Feyre finds her mate in Rhys and they love their hidden city, until they go looking for the Cauldron and find it.

I‘m glad I finally gave in and continued this series. Book 2 has a much better storyline, and yes it‘s spicy but I don‘t worship smut. I will admit that I bought the 3rd book today so I can continue the series when I‘m ready. Book #41 in 2024

I listened to both audios. Parts 1 and 2 in graphic audio. They may very well have ruined regular audio for me. It was amazing. Like watching a movie without the actual screen in front of me. Just in my head. I highly recommend everyone giving this a try at least. If not this book then any book that has it and is in a genre that you love.

After reading the first book, I was a little hesitant, but this was a great second book!! I am completely hooked now and the ending of ACOMAF has me now sucked into this series. 4.5/5 ⭐️

I‘ve been reading this book since May and at 75%.

I loved ACOTAR. I wasn‘t blown away by the spice scene, but loved the story & games at the end.

Everyone said ACOMAF was even better! So, I went in with high expectations.

The love interest switch threw me out of the story, and I‘m just not into Rhys. I keep waiting for the hype but reading feels like a chore.

Should I stick it out, or move on?
