I enjoyed this collection of ghost stories! As with all short story collections, some were better than others. Overall, I found it to be a delightful read for spooky season.

Baba Yaga is one of my all-time favorite folktales. Needless to say, I am really enjoying this book. We get different perspectives, characters you love and characters you love to hate. It was so easy to get swept up in the story. I‘m about 60% through and have loved every minute. #botm

Dr. Kendi is a must buy author for me. While this could have read like a textbook, Dr. Kendi‘s writing style makes it so compelling and easier to absorb all the dates and facts being thrown the readers way. Obviously an emotionally challenging book, but an important one. History just keeps repeating.

We did a “virtual” 5K today to raise money for a local cat rescue. Couldn‘t have had better weather. And now I get to sit and read for a spell while my other half farts around with his HAM radio.

I am very late picking this one up, but I loved it and think it‘s worthy of all the hype. That being said, I‘m in a book club of 4 and we were split right down the middle. 2 of us thought is was five stars, the other 2 gave it a meh. So wild!

Picked up a few books from Books Upstairs bookstore in Dublin, Ireland. It was a very cool shop!

This is my first manga and it is taking me a bit of time getting used to the format. 🙃 Unrelated, I‘m heading to Dublin for the first time and wondered which bookstores are a must see? Anyone have some recommendations? I‘m all ears!!

Also finished this book today and it was another winner. I flew through it (it isn‘t very long, but still). I loved most of the characters and enjoyed the story.

This book was SO good!! There was magic, there was a mystery, there was suspense, there was family drama. It lacked nothing!!

Parts of this book were particularly hard to read, but there were also many parts that were absolutely hilarious. I made sure to read each and every footnote. Fuzz is well written, informative, and entertaining. Be warned there‘s a lot of talk about animal deaths.
