I plan to take it easy this weekend. I have been experiencing sciatica pain and it has put a cramp in my style. I have a follow up doctor's appt. on Monday. Medication only helped a little. I think they will send me for an MRI. I just want to find out what is causing it so I can get a treatment plan to feel better.

🤓My February picks; 📚physical books from my shelves.

1. The Aeneid
2. The Bell Jar
3. The Catcher In The Rye
4. Dracula

I only read these 4 books. I think the most interesting books I read were The Iliad and The Aeneid. I listened to a dramatized audiobook of these stories and I liked taking in the stories that way because I felt like I was listening to plays and I like plays but I never understood what was going on and I don‘t remember anything that happened.

1 - not joyful, but a moment of pride and relief. When my community thought there was an active shooter at our high school, the law enforcement and emt barreled through barricades to get to the staff and students. After finding nothing, the students and staff were given trauma support and counseling.
2 - Onyx Storm

4 - got to visit my fifth graders today. They made me feel like a movie star ❤️❤️

1) I froze a bunch of cookie dough around Christmas. Pulled some out this weekend and everyone was happy.
2) snow and berries from my walk
3) Look at where I found the cat sleeping yesterday
4) walking between matches at a tournament and found horses
5) illustrated Sense & Sensibility at night with mint tea and cookies is a balm

A patron came in to pay for a destroyed library book (it had suffered significant water damage) with a comment that she‘d pay for it, if I insisted 😐

She paid for the book, I gave the book back to her and she was like 🤨 and I explained that it was too damaged to remain in the collection so she could take it or I could dispose of it. She took it AND THEN asked if the library bought books from Amazon because “it‘d be cheaper” 🤡 like no??

I‘m always cold so I treated myself to an electric throw. I‘ve just tried it out and oh my my goodness, I‘m so toasty! Must getting old 😂

1. I dislike sitting all day. I prefer to move around especially with the lower back pain I have. I have tried standing desk and that is not a good solutions for me.
