My #Bookspin TBR for March! There are SEVERAL books on this list that I've started, but just haven't finished (for whatever reason). And when I say “several,“ I mean more than half. 😬
That said, I hope to get a lot of these knocked off the list, finally!

I read less than half the books I read for January (17) but the books averaged 80 pages more per book than those read in January. In other words, I read some chunksters in February!!
Ignore the pages read each day. I read every day. I just sometimes forget to post my status. ☺️
This month was rough, as we had to say goodbye to Millie the rescue beagle and losing her just sucks. Grateful for books as always, for providing escape when the world is worlding. #februarystats
I would rather read a book with terrible writing but a good story. The content is more important to me than perfect spelling or grammar. As long as I can follow the story, I‘m good!

I have read both types. Several times. And I have powered through to the end on both types. Several times.
And I find myself wishing I had bailed on the terrible stories more often. 😅 So, I‘d rather read a good story, but terrible writing.

My final #bookspinbingo board. Two bingos and #doublespin done. I am currently reading my #bookspin pick “How I‘ll Kill You” and I am close to done with “Mayra” a very strange ARC read. Overall it was a bit of a blah reading month, but there were a few standouts.

1. After having a filling that partially fell out of my molar back in 1986 ... two root canals, an implant, an implant removal because the 1st one was done incorrectly ... I finally had a new-and-improved implant done this week. So much over one stupid-ass tooth.
2. We saw every planet except Mercury and Neptune.

February was another great reading month!
I don‘t rate the books on Storygraph so this graphic shows what I read at the beginning, middle, and end of the month. The best book I read in February was Human Acts by Han Kang and I also attended a book club meeting on it as well

I‘ve read 7 and paused on Embers of the Hands for now as it just wasn‘t holding my attention. How is everyone else getting on?

I've written a book still in publishing phase and I would definitely choose the main character, Christine. As you other authors should know, sometimes your characters surprise you with a quirky twist that is unique to them that even you (the author) don't really understand. I'd like to sit down with her and just get to know her.
Oh, and if your name is Christine, I like your name!!😊

I‘ve seen 74 academy award winners. My husband and my children are all movie nuts! I‘ve even seen Wings, the first best picture winner, because I took a class with Roger Ebert on Academy Award winners and he showed it. At the end of the class he said he‘d never teach this class again because the winners had absolutely nothing in common!
Thinking about The French Connection as Gene Hackman just passed away at 95.

It FINALLY came! It was sent to EAST Virginia, not West. The people were out of town, just found it, and sent it to me. How lucky/cool is that? After perusing all of the Ad Hominem attacks by this country's #ldf last week, I just can't do his fallacies anymore--at least for now.
