1. The Backstreet Boys were on the Today Show this morning. I recorded it and watched it tonight because I don‘t get up early.
2. I crocheted a rose.
3. My oracle card from my Unicorn oracle deck
4. My mom got me a stuffed animal and some chocolate for Valentine‘s Day
5. Taylor Bradshaw (an independent folk musician I listen to) set up his private discord group and I introduced myself to everyone in there.

1. Went to a workplace wellness conference yesterday & it was really informative. We did some breath work in the afternoon session & it was a good asthma breathing day for me which always gives me joy.🧘🏻♀️💨
2. Since I was already in town, I got my hair cut after the conference & not being “shaggy” gives me joy. ✂️
3. I stopped at Barnes & Noble after my haircut & got ⬇️

1- Household DIY projects...seems neverending, yet we're having too much fun tackling.
2- St. Valentine's Day. Just because I'm single, doesn't mean I skip out on a reason to eat some chocolate 😂🍫💝.
3- Found the Captain Planet DVD collection at Walmart a few months ago, and I've finally had time to watch while we work on our DIY projects. A childhood favorite 🦸♂️🌎💍💝.

It‘s been HARD to find the joy lately. I keep a running list for #5JoysFriday and the last date on the list is 1/17. That tracks. But I know I need to lean into the practice of noticing and seeking joy. I read the tagged book over the past couple of weeks—an exploration of contemplative practices in the Black church. Holmes talks about “crisis contemplation” and boy, does that resonate. So here are my five joys this week: ⤵️
