pickThe story is reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. Both stories revolve around a girl who is lost in a fantasy world and meets all kinds of interesting folks along the way. It‘s a simple plot line that works so well.
The cast of characters really made this an enjoyable read. The Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion were all so lovable!

This one was a soft pick for me, some interesting stories and good characters, but feel I missed some of it because I hadn‘t read the first book in the series. When I picked it up I didn‘t realise it was book 2 from a series. I will now read book 1. I can see how I would have got more out of the book if I had read book 1 first.

It‘s not the humor or the confidence of the main character, although those things are great. It‘s about the friendships between the characters. They always are there to support each other emotionally and physically. If one is in danger, they back each other up. If one needs a shoulder to cry (cont)⬇️

Idk how/why I read as much as I did of this (182 pages)🤦🏻♀️😬 A train🚂wreck that just wouldn‘t💥. Nothing in it is believable & it all feels very superficial.
