so-soI don‘t get the big deal about this book. It started off well but then it dragged. The premise is great though, and weirdly, I wanted Raskolnikov to get away with it! 😂 I didn‘t totally hate this book but I didn‘t love it either. I am glad to say that now I‘ve read this classic!

I forgot to post this yesterday 🤪, but there‘s just no way I can pick one favorite book from last year! I picked this book as a standout because it was a total #blameitonlitsy read (I‘m not much of a fantasy kinda girl) and I ended up loving it. Going outside my comfort zone paid off in this case!

pickA fantastic music memoir! The audiobook is fantastic, but now I‘d like a physical copy too, just to see the photos. Diamond and Horovitz tell their story so well, and it‘s very obvious that they dearly love and miss Yauch, and I‘d say this book is a beautiful tribute to him (RIP).

panThe premise of this book is really good but the execution was lacking. The characters are pretty flat and I never got invested in them. And the conclusion was kinda bizarre and abrupt. I would have bailed but needed to finish for #pop25, a book rated less than 3 stars on GR.
