Yup - this was perfect for me right now. I am loving the Meant to Be series of retellings- and this Little Mermaid with a Latin twist was so fun!

This might be my favorite of the Meant to Be series so far. A modern retelling of The Little Mermaid with a unique Latinx flair. I was genuinely invested in Ariel and Eric's relationship.

Absolutely fantastic! Loved this installment of Disney‘s Little Mermaid imagined for grown ups. Ariel, one of 6 sisters in a world renowned girl band, meets Eric, an up and coming musician who loves music, except for hers. Mistaken identity, forced proximity, quirky bandmates, and an adorable guinea pig make for a charming story full of life and heart. Great on #audio. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

5✨ I love this series! This one is a little mermaid retelling about two singers. It follows the story most of us grew up knowing from Disney, but oh man is it better than I expected. 🥰 #SeriesLove @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The newest installment in the Disney inspired romances came into my life mid-Little Mermaid obsession at my house, so that could certainly have colored how much I enjoyed this book. A fun, easy read featuring a cast of lovable (though *numerous*) side characters, this was just a treat.
Córdova had me hooked from page one, and as this is the first I‘ve read from her, it definitely encourages me to check out more of her work!

I am! Obsessed!! With this series!!! Loved all the winks to the original Little Mermaid and the spin Córdova put on it, and Ariel and Eric have my whole heart. I know the rest of the books will focus on other princesses, but I'd be happy to just spend more time with Star Crossed. #retelling #contemporaryromance
