#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-14: Blake is an ass. I mean I get it. But he could have approached things in a better way. Now Tanner feels he has to make a choice between his family and the woman who could become his family. Not an easy situation. And Cybil will face a lot of scrutiny and confusion from her friends (and everyone in her small town haha) for spending time with Tanner. Will they be strong enough to weather the storm?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch. 11-12: Lauren is so ridiculous but at least she‘s in a better mood now haha. Poor Cybil. That would be me - totally clumsy at the finish line. And what a revelation about her ex - I feel so bad for her, and him - although since we‘re not reading from his perspective obviously I feel more for Cybil. It‘s complicated and I can only imagine how she feels.

TheSpineView The revelation about Chris was a shocker. I feel sorry that Cybil got strung along for so many years. Glad that she is admitting to herself she likes Tanner. I thought it was super sweet that Tanner read to her. He is just gold!! 1d

OriginalCyn620 The meme is hilarious! 😂 I was surprised by the twist with Cybil‘s ex, but as a reader, I like it better than him just being a cheating bastard. It‘s too bad that Cybil was lied to for so long, but the complexity of struggling with sexuality is compelling. And it makes it even more complicated that he and Cybil grew up together and were expected to end up together. 1d

I remember reading this one some 20 years ago and thinking it was ok with some good character dialogue but on this reread, I see how flawed and in some moments just unrealistic.

Not my favorite of Cruise's work as I don't reread this one often compared to the others but I always had a problem with the Nick, Bill, Quinn angle and some 20 yrs later, I have a definite answer for myself as to why.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.9-10: poachers - can there be anything worse? What a horrible situation for Cybil to have found herself in. Here‘s hoping those men are gone now. Or maybe they‘ll run into the Bear. But this trip is certainly not the retreat that these couples were hoping for. Hopefully Tanner can keep everyone calm and safe.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-8: I get that the title of the book is called Rushed but I was still surprised that Tanner and Cybil kissed so soon. But I‘m ok with it if only because it put a bee in Lauren‘s bonnet and I‘m all for that. That woman is awful. I‘m worried more problems will occur because of that twit before this is over. And someone shooting nearby- that‘s certainly scary!

TheSpineView It does seem too soon for the kissing, but then the whole plot feels rushed. I don't think this is the last of the bear. We will find out soon enough. I get the feeling that Lauren is going stir up some trouble. 3d

First, I‘m sure she didn‘t pay any money, and second, it‘s none of her business what they do! 3d

I don‘t think trouble with her is over, and my first thought was someone trying to scare off the bear, although if it‘s not any kind of hunting season, the presence of the gun is a little suspect 3d

Believe it or not but that entire list is comprised of books I own but haven't read 😂 I second @tpixie - I haven't read this specific Sarah Morgan book, but I have read several others by her and she does such a lovely job - while there is romance, the focus is usually more on family (especially mother/daughter/sister) dynamics. 4d

Not sure when I‘ll get to it, but definitely keeping it top of mind for when I need a sweet escape. 4d

TheAromaofBooks Yes, I own all the Kindle books, too 😂 The PROBLEM is that during Winter Games every year everyone reads such fun Christmas/holiday books so I add them to a list and then throughout the year I periodically check Book Outlet for them and snag any under a certain price point... which seems to have lead to a somewhat significant pile of paperbacks 😆 4d

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.5-6: TBH - I‘m a bit terrified of bears ever since I was younger and watched this movie about a killer Grizzly on the loose. So I‘m thinking that bear is going to be back at some point in the story. I also think the group is going to come to an agreement to tie Lauren up and leave her somewhere if she doesn‘t stop her whining. But maybe that‘s wishful thinking. ⬇️

StayCurious It‘s sad that Cybil was with someone for 9 years and yet they talked about everything except what might be wrong in their relationship. Maybe this trip - and Tanner - will help her gain some perspective. 5d

TheAromaofBooks I was a little surprised that Cybil has to share her tent with Tanner! I know he's her partner for this trip but... he's still a stranger! 4d
