I had intended to get through all 6 books this month, but I seemed to forget that these are some thick boys. My editions are all between 500-800 pages 😆

**update: after posting I realized I put E in twice.🤣**
I had to take a break from doom scrolling. I'm working on my reading journal for 2025 to try and relax. This layout is for the A-Z ultimate challenge hosted by @AudiobookingWithLeah

I've been under the weather the last few days, so no coffee but flavored water instead.
Fun memory about this tumbler. My dad and my stepmom came to visit in June of '22 for my daughter's graduation. They went to their very first Pride to show support for her and had any amazing time. They bought a ton of stuff including this tumble for me. Everytime I use it, I think of that day and smile. 😃

A little late and not really the first line but this is a beautiful dedication. 😍
I watched this documentary this week. It follows the life of Billie from 2016-19. It covers her & her brother writing, recording, & releasing the album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" & the struggles that came with their new fame. I loved that they showed everything; the good, the bad, the painful. Watching & listening to her songs now, hits a little different knowing the back stories that accumpany them.

1. Christmas and Christmas lights. Other than that, nothing. It is my least favorite season, and I could honestly do without it. 🤣
2. Done
@TheSpineView
I'm currently reading 2 different books where the characters are obsessed with Tim Tams. Last night I bought some and have to say they are pretty good.
It was strange, how when something moved in the dark, everyone's first instinct was to go inside and hide under the covers.

Weekend goals. 2 of my waitlist books from the library came in, so I'm going to read them and the next book in the millennium series.

I'm repeating my goal of 100 for this year. There are months where I read everyday and then months where I don't read at all, so 100 seems achievable.

"Friendship- my definition- is built on two things. Respect and trust. Both elements have to be there. And it has to be mutual. You can have respect for someone, but if you don't have trust, the friendship will crumble."
I'm most excited for Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V E Schwab. I wish it was June already.
#Sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern
I've only read the first 3 books of this series even though I own all of them. So for January, I plan to finally read the whole series.

Why do people keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result?
I'm pretty proud of my progress this year. I knocked out a lot of my never-ending TBR list. I had alot of DNFs & wish I had written them down for a master DNF list, hmm maybe next year.
I had a book goal of 100 last year & I'm keeping it for this year. I feel 100 is an achievable goal for me, especially since every few weeks something stressful & time consuming always pops up.
📚 Good luck everyone with your goals for 2025. 📚
My Graphic Novel Book Bracket for 2024
I couldn't choose between Camp Spirit and Pumpkin Heads. They were both so good and reminded me of being a teenager.
My 2024 Book Bracket!
Dungeon Crawler Carl is the overall winner for this year, which makes sense because I was obsessed with this book. I think I recommended it to every bookish, nerdish, tabletop gamer type person I knew this year. My husband and I devoured the audiobooks on a road trip over the summer and I highly recommend listening to the Sound Booth Theater version. If you like DnD, cats and laughing, then you need to read this book.

Dexter laying on another book. This guy is too funny.📖🐶

Based on the TWs, the dedication page and the first sentence, I know this is going to be an interesting read. What have I gotten myself into?

1. Coffee and a weighted blanket. If it's rainy or snowy out, then it's even better. 🌧☔️🌨☃️
2. I don't have any. The only book I'm waiting for is a paperback version of The Beloved by JR Ward that comes out in January.

1. Yes. I am the type of person who has a plan A, plan B and plan C. I make lists, maps, schedules, etc.
2. I am currently rereading a book from childhood called Tallahassee Higgins. This book is filled with things not going how Tallahassee planned.

Playlist for today. I been pretty heavy on the halloween and pop metal covers lately. I guess spotify thinks I need some angry, screaming metal today. 🎶 🎵

1. Blueberry! With cherry as a close second. My birthday cake this year was Lemon Blueberry and last year it was an all Blueberry fruit tart. 😋
2.Tagged. for all the Great Hall scenes.

I've been making these oversized pumpkins to add to my graveyard this year. Tomorrow I start waterproofing them, then painting, sealing them, and final step is to attach the stems. I will be so happy once these are done and I can have my dining table back.
