Didn't find a physical copy at my local bookstore - So I ended up getting the Audible Version. Might end up switching over to print (as I find these types of books easier in print) - or something I can read along (but --- today's chapter, I found online, so I read along while I listened - so might just do that.

so-soFinished my first book of the new year (mostly because it was super short and low stakes). --- I just didn't love love the characters, so I highly doubt I will continue this series.
I plan on reading most of the day today too - want to start the year off right!

I read a book per theme and then continued some of the series. I am excited to join 2026 with y'all. I am thinking they will be kindle mostly, since I don't think I physically have any Cozies at home. Maybe some audios are in my download library.

I did pretty great this year on my Book Spins :) I kinda fizzled out last month and this month (I had overcommitted to too many buddy reads), and did a bunch of #AudioCommute - the Books I picked for those months are physical ones in my home (as an attempt to cull my #TBR).
I will do the same next year, and I am excited to get a whole new List picked out! (Had regurgitated lists for several months).

Kinda got away from reading this. My friend and I were doing good, but “life” got in the way - I want to clean slate my “currently reading” so I am gonna take this one off, might jump back on to it. Not sure yet.
It was a great #BookToScreen adaptation. My only complaint is —- not enough Enzo. My hubby (who didn‘t read the book) also thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
pickFinished this one today - our plan is to see the movie tomorrow. I liked it. Not sure if I loved it as the way way end (where it tells you it will definitely have a sequel) felt pretty cheesy, but other than that I enjoyed it. Haven‘t heard much about if the movie hold up. #BookToScreen
pickFinished this one the other day (forgot to post). It didn't focus as much on the murder (as most cozies do) as it did on character/relationship building — but that being said, I enjoyed the character, her relationships with her husband, in-laws, and culture. The dips into the Spanish idioms were especially enjoyable (since I, although I am a different type of Latina, share similar sayings). Also, the food sounded lovely!

Anyway, finished this one quickly. It was kinda predictable, and I hated every character, but, it passed the time.

pickLove this tradition :) It started with my grandmother, who used to read this to me every December 1st when I was younger, and then she gifted me a couple of copies of it throughout the years. We had very little in common other than our love for reading. This reading from Hugh Grant was perfect! Also was able to get some work done around the house :)
panEHH. So the MC was just horrible! Like JUST HORRIBLE, there was a bit towards the end that I had seriously considered #DNF because I couldn't read another one of “will he kill me“ monologues. But I slugged through. The ending was --- eh. I am gonna say it's a “no“ from me.

so-soI gotta say “so-so”. Sure the writing is beautiful, but would I recommend it to anyone? No. It‘s too much. Even though the ending wasn‘t what I expected- it wasn‘t enough to encourage others to get there.

It was one of the books that I read way too young for my brain to fathom what was going on, but oh how i loved it! And then fell in love with horror and all things #StephenKing.
Curious to get others optinons on this adapation.
