Empire of Billions | E. Masson

This was an odd read to say the least. I was very confused when I finished it.

The story was very superficial. It never dove deep into any of the characters. I never felt like I knew any of them beyond the surface level.

Written just a decade after Brontë‘s Villette, but Braddon‘s book feels more modern somehow. Going into this without knowing much but enjoying it so far ? #weekendreads @rachelsbrittain

ebook: The Plan by Kendra Adachi
print: When We Left Cuba by Chanel Cleeton
audiobook: On Her Terms by Amy Spalding

Is this the same list as last week? Yes, but hopefully I'll finish all three this week.

Enjoying all four so far! Tonight I‘ll probably finish Marigold Mind Laundry and then continue reading The Curious Kitten at the Chibineko Kitchen

My goal is to finish Voice Like a Hyacinth. I haven't figured out if I like it or not yet, it's a bit slow going. I keep reading a bit then switching to other books so I'm probably going to have to push myself to continue. I also have Gideon which I am really liking and I started this ridiculous but fun Monstrous Meet Cutes series.
