#WeekendReads

Started Prophet Song this morning. Will finish Buried in a Bog tomorrow on my drive to Portland and back. I‘m 40% into Thorns and will likely bail and move onto Swans.

Listening to the audiobook of The Three Body Problem for #LitsySciFiBookClub, reading Snow Crash for #ClassicLSFBC and reading Burning Chrome just for myself. 😂

RamsFan1963 I had to edit my post, I didn't realize when I was using the photo collage app that I used the picture for first line fridays instead of the one for weekend reads. 23h

#weekendreads Just finished the tagged. Love this series.
Hoping to finished I Love You But I‘ve Chosen Darkness on audio. Just started Moon of the Turning Leaves. Peppering in some short stories from The End of the World is a Cul de Sac.

Only two books this weekend…both are rather slow going. I have houseguests this coming week, so not much time to read anyway. I‘ve got cleaning to do! 🧹🧽🧺🧼

#weekendreads

vivastory I read Snow Crash & Neuromancer basically back to back so I often get them mixed up. I do remember liking both 😅 23h
Ruthiella @vivastory I‘m definitely noticing some similarities to Neuromancer, though it‘s been a few years since I read it. 😅 22h

One of my #weekendreads. Hmmm…not sure about this one yet. My read on the plane to Baja! @rachelsbrittain

Tamra I really enjoyed this on audio, but it does require a certain mood and it can be confusing with shifts in time & memory. 1d
sarahbarnes This is heavy, but I really liked it. 1d
Suet624 I liked this one a lot. 1d
CarolynM It took me a while to get into it, but it was worth the effort. 1d

A bit of this..a bit of that:
*Eric LaRocca's new story collection “This Skin Was Once Mine“
*“Rikers: An Oral History“ This one has been hibernating for a bit, but will def be finishing this weekend
*Ursula Le Guin's “Gifts“ Book 1 in a trilogy she wrote towards the end of her life.
*Potentially Patricia Highsmith's “The Tremor of Forgery“ Considered one of her greatest & the last one I have to read in LOA's Four Classic Thrillers '64-69

Suet624 Your weekend is definitely full. 1d
vivastory @Suet624 It's a quiet weekend at home; so plenty of time for reading 24h
