My next read. I gather this is part of a series, but it sounds like fun. Hoping that I haven‘t read the previous books isn‘t a detriment.

I loved this one. Iris is a bit of a twit, but she actually kind of knew she was being a twit through the whole story so it made it easier to like her. And Olive. What a kid. #18-2025

This is by far my favorite book of the series!! A hot chef who is a single father and the beloved Iris? What more could anyone ask for?

It probably doesn‘t hurt that this one has the most smut in it 😉

bibliothecarivs I'm curious about the book on the table. I'm guessing (without searching the Web) it's Christina Rossetti's poetry published by Oxford World Classics? 2w
StaceGhost @bibliothecarivs yes! Wow! Good eye haha it‘s poetry and prose— she‘s amazing. I‘ve been interspersing my comps reading with super cozy books 2w

It was an OK installment to the series - nothing special, wasn't super original or memorable, but quite enjoyable.

I‘m not sure if I‘ve ever cataloged and processed a book so fast to be able to open it today!

You've got some of the best tropes: single dad, forced proximity, slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, and found family. I enjoyed Iris and Archer's love story, especially when you add Olive. Sometimes, including a child in a romance can be a little cumbersome, but Laurie Gilmore did a great job with Olive. The characters we love from the previous books all make guest appearances, but I liked that the main characters of this book were new to the reader.

MemoirsForMe I‘m so hungry for pancakes right now! 😁 2mo
