Great twists in this one! *Almost* as good as Local Woman Missing. I, personally, think she‘s a phenomenal author! 🤩

My anxiety has been a real gem this week 😒, so interestingly enough, my next #bookishmonopoly roll took me to my ‘anxiety‘ prompt. I‘ve now started flipping this magazine that I‘ve had forever. 🙃
Not the bluest of covers, but I wanted to open this one..
The triggers warnings are real with this one. Sometimes I needed more to happen, but I thought her writing was phenomenal. Definitely worth it if you‘re into dark enemies-lovers books. #bookishmonopoly
This was a fun, quirky, fast-paced read! The narrative of the main character was phenomenal, and she throws in some darkness that makes it even better.
Made a rough draft of my #bookishmonopoly board at work the other night, and I couldn‘t wait to try it today since I‘m ready for my next read! I landed on ‘person on cover‘, so The Surgeon it is! 🤩
Loved, loved, LOVED this book. A super quick read, and a glorious twisty ending. Another good one that keeps you guessing about who the crazy one is; my type of book. If is says 'an unputdownable psychological thriller', then it's for me.
This was definitely NOT The woman in the window. 😕 I liked the old-time mystery kind of feel, but this one just did not keep me engaged as much as I had hoped.
This book was crazy good! The review on the cover does not lie. It was non-stop suspense, and non-stop 'is she crazy or not'?! The ending may be a touch rushed, but the ending isn't the point to this book at all. Good stuff!
I‘m pumped to say that between last night and this morning - 2 workouts, cooking dinner, and meal prepping - that I‘ve gotten through the most percentage of an audiobook than I ever have before! Am I finally going to be able to do it?! Or is it just because it‘s a Freida McFadden book?!
Kiersten Modglin thrillers are always fast reads, but the ending in this one felt extra rushed. I also wanted the happily ever after, but it didn‘t fully come. Still a fun read and a page-turner!
Fastest that I‘ve gotten through a book in a long time! Freida always throws some little extra quick about a character in, and the one that is in this one is just great 👠!!
I've been in quite the reading slump for the last few months (again)! 😣 Hoping this February #bookspin gives me motivation! #doublespin #bookspinbingo
First book of 2024! Short and sweet in typical Kiersten Modglin fashion. Great, jaw-dropping twists at the end!
Thank you @actualdisneyprincess ! I love Lauren North so so much! Happy holidays! #jolabokaflod
Both of my #jolabokaflod packages have arrived! Thank you!
@MaleficentBookDragon Both of my #jolabokaflod swap packages went out today!
It took me a little while to get into this one, but it‘s worth the push through. It eventually turns into the fast-paced, page-turning Wendy Walker style and delivers!
@Maggie4483 What a wonderful #hhs package! 🤩 everything is amazing - from the wreath to the books to the chocolates, and etc etc! The makeup palette is 🔥!! I used it this morning ☺️. Thank you so so much and thank you @wanderinglynn for hosting! 🧡💛 #hauntedhollowswap
So much head shaking and eye-rolling while reading what those horrific people did to Britney. The cost of fame is just too much. I‘m glad she wrote this. 🩷
This book started off strong for me, and I had high hopes then poof- she lost me. I‘ve come to the conclusion that I‘m just not a fan or her writing. However, still an interesting idea in there somewhere.
Of course I loved this book, as I have been following these murders through and through so far. I needed him to elaborate on a couple of things more, but maybe he couldn‘t yet. Plus, of course, there‘s no trial outcome yet, 😒 but still written in clear investigative detail.
This book kept coming up in the FB thriller group, and I really thought nothing of it until I processed it at work, and decided to take it home 🤓 - needless to say, it was phenomenal! Super twisty and fun to read. Differently written too! So fun 🤩!
My #HHS package is ready to be dropped off at the post office in the next couple of days! 👻 #hauntedhollowswap
Not my favorite of Freida‘s.. a little too “mushy”ish for her, but still good, and I still flew through it with her great style of writing.
This looks fun for October! 🤩 Free with KU 👻!
Not exactly what I expected from Alice Feeney, but still great twists. More emotionally heavy than thriller.
I was bored through most of it one 😒.. IMO most of it hard more of a domestic drama flair, then psych thriller. Interesting ending, but it wasn‘t really put together enough before it for me.
This was a fascinating memoir by a local author about her suicide attempt, drug addictions and recovery. Short and quick read, but her writing is phenomenally expressive.
My Halloween collage for the #hauntedhollowswap 👻
I‘ve gotten really into the pink decorations 🤩, since it‘s really my favorite part, as well as doing fun makeup and nails 😝 #hhs
What a great day yesterday was, since I ordered my 12ft skeleton, (amongst others), finally AND @wanderinglynn tagged me so that I knew about this awesome swap! Sign ups are on her page now! Happy almost fall! 👻
I‘m saddened to say that this with not my favorite from Wendy Walker 😕 - the thriller was there, but it just didn‘t seem as intense me as her usual writings.
It took me until probably the second half, but I understand the hype! The last few chapters.. 🤯!
There were some holes, but this may possibly be Kiersten Modglin‘s best book yet. It‘s definitely her longest, but there isn‘t a boring page in it! It‘s got Murder, twists (tons), turns (tons), and emotions and was amazingly written. Phenomenal read for me!
So that I can have 4,000 more pictures of recipes in my phone to forget about 😂. .
Another good one for me from Jaime Lynn Hendricks! Yes, it was a little clichéd, and the ending may have been guessable, but I personally think that she‘s underrated. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one!
Releasing all of the new books at work has made me more inclined to read more children‘s books in the meantime.
This is an adorable book about what the sun does for people all around the world ☀️; looking at it possibly being read for the summer reading kickoff! 📚
Big book club picks constantly make me skeptical about how I‘m going to feel about them.. but I must say this was quite the pick for GMA (adultery, kinks, and all 😂), and i enjoyed it!
At first it seems like just another petty, the neighbors all hate each other, book, but she made it quite fun to read! 4.5 ⭐️
June #bookspin ! #bookspinbingo #doublespin
Maybe I‘ll catch up my May book reviews and bingo board at some point today.. 😬!
@TheAromaofBooks
This book was a phenomenal read. It‘s not only about Hadley Freeman‘s own personal battle and hospital stays, but it‘s a detailed and study-backed narrative of while young girls develop anorexia, and what is really is and entails. I learned a lot and I think this is a great read for all women!
He lost me at times with his wording and references, but this was still an awesome thriller! The whole idea of the book is intelligent and disturbing.
