There is a lot of people on GR that reviewed this without having read The Perfect Child first. I don‘t know how it could be enjoyable otherwise…but hey, a lot of them seem to think it was. Anyway…I have listened to the first book prior and I‘ll say that if you‘ve read TPC beforehand, than this is definitely a worthwhile listen. Especially since it‘s available on KU.
