pickA fun twisty thriller about a woman who has a unique podcast where her traumatic past comes back with a vengeance. I definitely recommend this one as an audiobook. Not perfect, there were a few moments that were a little implausible and a couple poor choices by the main character, but a fun read. 4⭐️

pickI am in my "thriller era" right now, and this one did not disappoint. I tore through this, dying to figure out the details of the crime and who the killer was. I loved how the book included a multi-media aspect, with QR codes throughout, which added video clips from Poe's podcast. Carter Wilson perfectly builds the tension and mystery, leading the reader to a satisfying ending, and the New England Halloween setting is the bow on the entire story.

pickJust finished this audiobook! It was very well performed! A different & interesting premise for the podcast genre of thrillers. There were times I thought the pacing lagged a bit but I really enjoyed the ending which made me give it a 4 star rating on Goodreads. I‘m not one to blink at foul language but it was excessive at times. It took longer to care about the characters than I would‘ve liked. This one overall is solid & I recommend it!

•A fascinating concept that was almost perfectly executed. Although, I could‘ve done without the turmoil of wondering if the dog would be harmed. It spun the oft-used podcast element on its head. If you‘re a fan of psych thrillers; this one is not to be missed.
