The moment she steps off the boat, she crashesliterallyinto Niall OConnor, a grumpy local whos just returned home to Inishmore from Dublin. Niall is nursing a broken heart and trying to patch up a broken life, and he has no time for posh American tourists. Pickpick

Cordelia needs to escape from her grief and decides to spend a summer off the coast of Ireland. She literally runs into Niall on her first day…literally. It is not love at first sight.

This is a romance story, but it‘s also a study in grief and learning to cope with memories and discover oneself again. The romance bits are extra spicy, totally NSFW. I listened to the audio, and I greatly preferred the female voice actress over the male ⬇️⬇️

Librarybelle ⬆️⬆️ voice narrator. As for the story itself, Cordelia did get on my nerves a little bit with her extreme bashfulness and her constant fretting over everything - perhaps she hits a little too close to home for me. My favorite character by far is Rosheen, an older woman who lives on the island and is hilarious. Really, really hilarious. Overall, this is a good summer read. Perfect beach read, and it makes me really want to go to Ireland! 6mo
willaful So annoying when there's more than one narrator and the quality varies. I've had to switch to print many a time. 6mo
Librarybelle Thanks #NetGalley and the publisher for this #ALC ! 6mo
Librarybelle @willaful The male voice narrator could not do a female voice at all. They all sounded so shrilly, unfortunately. I did like his narration of Niall‘s voice, though. 6mo
