pickI loved this #RapunzelRetelling based on Disney‘s retelling, #Tangled. Raised on an isolated, off-grid homestead, Ren at 22 convinces her parents to let her attend college if she follows their rules of no dating, makeup, internet, cell phones & comes home to do her chores every weekend. But a surprise result in a biology class sets her off on a cross country road trip with Fitz, seeing the world (& some forced proximity romantic moments). So fun!

Definitely my favorite so far in the Disney-inspired Meant To Be series! Christina Lauren do a great job putting this well-known Disney story into its own, new context.
Tangled has so much character development for the two main characters, and the authors really capture that in this story. There are lots of little nods to the original movie, but it also felt uniquely its own, which is quite a feat!

Christina Lauren have reimagined Tangled in a modern, realistic way with complicated characters that you can‘t help but fall for. This has started off cute, and I expect to love it, but listening to the narrators read off the email addresses over and over in the audio version is annoying.
