I finished this over the weekend, and then I almost forgot to review it. I found some parts interesting, but overall I‘m just ambivalent about the whole thing. I will be curious to see if our book club discussion gives me any greater appreciation for it.

#audiobook 🎧 just ok for me, I think I keep going with the series because I‘ve come so far already. No the most original concepts, in my opinion, it was alright. Also, a few of the accents choices by the narrator were interesting (and not in a good way)

I‘m on hold for the next Hamish book so I decided to dive into another cozy mystery series by M.C. Beaton, this time set in the Edwardian era. It had its funny moments & the narrator did a great job with all the voices, but it didn‘t capture my full attention. It‘s not bad, just not my favorite. 3⭐️
