For everyone who is participating in the #naturalitsy buddy read, I was on Facebook and saw an advertisement for this free webinar happening on April 22 that is being hosted by American Bird Conservancy. If you can‘t make it to the webinar, you can RSVP and you‘ll be able to watch it whenever you want to. I signed up for this.

Mehso-so

I started this last year with the #naturalitsy group, but decided to go rogue and read it out of order to coincide with the months in my life.
This is a beautiful book - the photography and sketches appeal to my nature-loving self. The writing I didn‘t enjoy quite as much. I applaud the author for sharing her mental health struggles and her attempt to best them with an appreciation of nature, but I was hoping for more focus on nature.

This had some interesting parts, but was a little bit dry for me. I‘m liking the insects book much more. #Naturalitsy @AllDebooks

#NaturaLitsy Daily #buddyread #ATreeADay

Wow, April already! 🌸🌞🌸

Are you still enjoying our daily arboreal treat? 🌳
Did you have a favourite passage from the March entries? I adored An Orchard in Spring by Isidore Verheyden (1897). Inosculation is quite cool, too.https://crowspath.org/love-trees/

All are welcome to join us. Please let me know if you wish to be added/removed from the taglist.

Bookwormjillk I love this book. I‘m a little behind as usual but almost caught up. 3d

Cuilin March 2, Ogham, my name cuilin/cuilinn/cuilean come from this old Celtic tree alphabet. March 31 Box Hill, I remembered it from Jane Austen‘s Emma and the fiasco of the picnic and of course March 10 coffee!! 3d
Deblovestoread Such a peaceful few minutes I have daily with this book. March was filled with fascinating entries but I loved the two page entry with The Lone Tree of Wanaka for March 27. Beautiful, peaceful pic. Also the 29th Peasant‘s House at Éragny by Pissarro. ? 3d

BookSpinBingo | Untitled

Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo picks. I read the short story I was supposed to read for #noplacelikeholmes. I knew I would be able to since the stories are so short and they don‘t take any brain power to read. I wanted to read the books for #naturalitsy. I‘m disappointed that I didn‘t get a chance to but maybe in April, I‘ll get to if I have time. It‘s the perfect time to read books about nature because it‘s Spring.

Here‘s how I did on #bookspinbingo in March. I finished 1 series for #serieslove2025, read a book for a book club and read books for buddy reads. I didn‘t read any more of Assassin‘s Apprentice for the #realmofelderlings buddy read and I didn‘t read any of the books for the #naturalitsy buddy read. I‘m still reading a #roll100 book I started in February and I haven‘t finished it yet but I‘m making progress on it.
