I slept all day. I didn‘t wake up until 3 PM. It was raining all day and I stayed in my nightgown. I didn‘t change into regular clothes. Tonight, I ate dinner and then I took a shower after dinner. I read more of Assassin‘s Apprentice by Robin Hobb for the #realmofelderlings buddy read. It‘s midnight right now so I‘m going to journal for a little bit and then get back to reading more of Assassin‘s Apprentice.

1. April 1 was Library Giving Day so I donated $5 to Houston Public Library & $5 to Harris County Public Library.
2. I ordered coffee from an online shop called Kitty Town Coffee. The proceeds from sales feed cats in shelters.
3. I signed up for a webinar about trees.
4. I made more progress in the #realmofelderlings buddy read.
5. I signed up for another webinar about birds.

I made more progress in this book tonight. I was on chapter 6 and I just stopped on chapter 10. I like what I‘ve read so far.

I saw that my library has the books in the Shardlake series. It sounds really interesting. I think I would enjoy the books so I added the first book on to my Goodreads TBR. I don‘t have time for more long books right now. I have a lot going on with reading right now. I‘m participating in #realmofelderlings. It‘s a 15 book series. All of the books are over 500 pages and I‘m still reading the first book in that series.

Here‘s how I did on #bookspinbingo in March. I finished 1 series for #serieslove2025, read a book for a book club and read books for buddy reads. I didn‘t read any more of Assassin‘s Apprentice for the #realmofelderlings buddy read and I didn‘t read any of the books for the #naturalitsy buddy read. I‘m still reading a #roll100 book I started in February and I haven‘t finished it yet but I‘m making progress on it.

#RealmofElderlings book is Royal Assassin. Aim is to have this I've read by the end of April and then move on to the last book in the Farseer Trilogy

How is everyone finding it? I haven't started my re-read yet 🤣

I couldn't find a second hand copy of Royal Assassin for our #RealmOfElderlings read along, so I got an illustrated e-book
And I'm so impressed with the illustrations 🤩

The Mysterious Affair At Styles (#christiescapers), I just started it last night but I‘ll be able to finish it. This book mentioned Sherlock Holmes in the first chapter. I thought that was interesting.
