Love this one too. Eventhough (as usual) I was planning to stop reading as I felt it was slow moving at the beginning. Love the love between Lamont and Margo.

Mary Stewart is such a descriptive writer, her settings are evocative. She is one of the few authors who truly excel at first person point of view. I need to look through my TBR, I'm sure I have some more of her books waiting.
so good and yet heartbreaking at the same time. It deals with some pretty tough themes and as a parent of a girl the right age it was hard hitting. I like how we saw it through three completely different experiences. It added so much more depth to the story. The plot is simple in many ways yet it takes you on a journey. It has a modern feel running through it with occasional excerpts from online posts, police reports. #Netgalley 5*

Another Freida that did not disappoint…even though this one didn‘t have a huge twist as her other books, it was still a great fast-paced thrilling read to me😱🩷
This was a good one — lots of angst, lots of spice, and lots of action. Reyna is a heroine I can get behind, strong and wilful and determined. Spider is just sweet — tough on the outside and a pile of soft mush inside. The way they both eases into trusting one another after being closed off and hurt was really lovely, and the banter was peak. This was a great series overall and I really enjoyed it.

Ok.. so I am pretty sad I finished reading this book. I loved the dark twists it had and how the women came out on top over an abusive and manipulative man. I loved how strong Nina was for putting up with it for the sake of her child and how at the end she didn‘t turn her back on Millie. Millie…. Oh man. I can‘t wait to read the next book!
Should I have read this before I read the series? Nah, it was much more fun and definitely sad to read it after the series. Since I know what happens to Stormy but Odd does not yet, it's sad in that way. In this very short story, Odd and Stormy are heading to a carnival but are detoured by a recently murdered ghost which they must investigate. This was a wonderful story and makes me miss Odd so much!
