Last weekend's book haul while Christmas shopping - whoopsies ✌️ Tagged book is a signed special edition 😊
After seeing so many positive reviews of tagged book, when I came across a signed copy, I just couldn't refuse...
Beginning of tagged book - love this quote!!

National Book Festival 2024
Reading tagged book on Nelligan - one of my favorite places to read - paddleboat, some loons nearby, hearing voices travel across the lake of people swimming and enjoying the beautiful weather, seeing the girls play in the water with Miss Harper (I swear she's not a golden retriever - she keeps leaving the water and they coax her back in, oh puppy)...
I. Not really, but I do have a favorite summer reading spot, either floating on the lake or sitting on the pier.
II. Heading to DC with @JenReadsAlot - and lots of cabin time on the lake.
III. Grateful for being able to work from home today and spend time with my dog so she's not home alone all day 🐾🐾

Finally read tagged book (signed copy from author event in 2022 - yes, I'm that behind) and it was so good - I learned so much about not only beekeeping but gender... Don't want to say much more as it may give away the premise of the book - if you haven't read, I encourage you to do so with an open mind and heart. Read on littens 🫠 The other books pictured I have read for #52bookchallenge 2024 📚
Finally finished tagged book in April - still sitting with this one on my heart - #readyourkindle challenge... Updates on challenge include Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine and Burning Bright (Peter Ash series).
For those littens who haven't read Freida McFadden, I started "reading" her audiobooks in March, and I haven't been disappointed. So far, I've read the tagged book, The Perfect Son, and Do Not Disturb. Recommend if you're up for some fast-paced thriller-esque-type reads. I also read #thehousemaid on my Kindle (which wasn't part of the #readyourkindle challenge) but is included in my goal to read more Kindle books. Happy Fri-YAY!!
#indiebookstoreday #bookhaul - just supporting the local indie with @JenReadsAlot

@CBee - halfway through - haven't had to bust out the Kleenex yet, but man oh man, the trauma - whew... Jude has my heart breaking for him...
Still working on March, but here are my April picks - thank you @CBee
#readyourkindle
Happy Easter, Littens!!
"Remember, sometimes you need to scorch everything to the ground and start over. After the burning the soil is richer, and new things can grow. People are like that, too. They start over. They find a way."

The letter had been sent by a dead man...

Delayed post - my local indie store had an author event with tagged author/book on Sunday - book haul - my mom bought the tagged book so I spent my money on others 😊
1. Celebrate my dog's 2 year "gotcha day" - no real specific celebration until Saturday
2. Hmmm, nothing specific to recommend - maybe a Katherine Center, Emily Henry, or Abby Jimenez book ?

Now to figure out where these might fit in my 52 Book Challenge... Think I'll start with tagged book 🤔
Who doesn't like prizes (surprises) - in stepping up my reading game for 2024 I thought this "book" of prizes with reading related prompts/challenges would be fun. I listened to a reading themed podcast and this button was the prize? And I couldn't agree more - the book has 100% been better ?
Reality doesn‘t always give us the life that we desire, but we can always find what we desire between the pages of books.”
―Adelise M. Cullens
Today was a good day to have a good day with @JenReadsAlot at the Grown Up Book Fair at The Sylvee in Madison.
I really enjoyed this - kept me on my toes and there were several "wtf" moments... #the52bookchallenge
Visited Literatus today in Watertown and this was in the front window 🎄🎅🦌🛷
The above quote by Grace Paley was found in the beginning of the book I'm going to attempt to read in the next couple of days - any guesses littens 🤔😺📖
Just finished this for BC - my first Peter Swanson and I will be reading more!!
This has been a great read so far...
