This was a pretty good collection of tales. A couple stories are okay, some are really good. Recommend to fans of urban legends.

Not in database.

This was an interesting read. A young girl became engaged to a dead man who may have been murdered. I thought this practice was fictional until the notes at the end. The paranormal aspects of the book were interesting and confusing at the same time. I kept getting my characters mixed up. However, I highly enjoyed the ending. 3.5⭐️

Texreader Definitely a different sort of book! 3mo
TheAromaofBooks This was one of those books that whenever I was reading it, I wanted to keep reading it, but I had trouble getting myself to pick it up again after I would set it down. 3mo

So good! Fast paced, the characters I already love doing their thing and a plot that gripped me. #15 in the series.

Book #15 of 2024: “Death is a Lonely Business” by Ray Bradbury

I enjoyed this one. It‘s got a strong sense of melancholy with a whisper of hope. A good mystery that kept me engaged.

Kay Scarpetta #15
It was more intriguing than the last couple, they have yet again randomly switched locales, things get more serious in Kay‘s relationship &Marino hits rock bottom.
The murder was in the backseat to the continuing Dr Self drama & Marino‘s meltdown, I wish it would get back to more of the investigation vs character interactions.

Excited to try to do the #readyourkindle challenge again this month. I realized I accidentally listed a book I finished last month so I randomly picked a new one for #15. Thanks @CBee for organizing

Here‘s my #readyourkindle picks from the numbers that were drawn today. #4 is a forbidden romance between a boss and employee. This is the new book I just added to my list. #10 is a book from Kindle Unlimited. I don‘t know what book I‘m reading for that yet. #15 is the first book in a trilogy and #16 is the second book in a trilogy. The trilogy I‘ll be finishing this month is Loose Ends by Kaia Bennett.

Econ‘s book in this trilogy. I liked it but not loved it. It is a short book and some parts were a little bit confused and then an abrupt ending. I still enjoyed the audiobook. 3⭐️
