In “Spy school“ by Stuart Gibbs, the thrilling and page turning novel had me on the edge of my seat all the way to the conclusion. This story is based about a young school boy named Ben Ripley, who got to fulfill his dream of being a spy with his invitation to the prestigious spy school. After only his first day at the school, he was threatened by a secret assassin, leading him to try and find clues on who may be doing these actions and threats.

Damon.Richter Ben makes many new friends and enemies in his time at the school, who he learns to work with to achieve his lifetime goal of being a CIA spy. From my experience reading this novel, I strongly enjoyed it and would suggest it to many others. If you like other novels such as “The last kids on earth,“ or “The secret series,“ I would making “Spy school,“ a priority for your next read. 2mo

The novel “Spy school,“ by Stuart Gibbs, is an action packed book with exciting events and mysteries that will keep you thinking for what's next. So far out of this 290 page novel, I am on page 138 and enjoying it more than ever. This novel narrative is written in first person point of view, with the main character being a young boy named Benjamin Ripley. Benjamin Ripley is an intelligent middle schooler who finds great interest in Science.

Damon.Richter One night after school, he was greeted by a spy at his house who works for the CIA. He was immediately transported to a top secret spy school that no one was to know about. The school came with many challenges and unexpected tests to test Benjamin\'s spy skills, and was much different from your average middle school. As he continues his journey in the school, he makes many new friends and one in particular named Erica. 2mo
Damon.Richter With their new skills, they begin to piece together clues about a mysterious Villain, who we will hopefully discover later in the novel. For me personally, I really enjoyed this novel and would suggest it to many young boys who are interested in action and mysteries. 2mo

Suspending disbelief for this one; it starts by the 12yo protagonist going home from school to find a strange man has let himself into his house and when the man tells him he‘s been accepted into spy school - which he‘s never heard of - and to pack up to leave now, he goes with him. Well, I suppose it‘s a kids‘ book after all.

This book is really exiting. I am only on page 13,and I am on the edge of my seat. There is some really good detail in this book, that help me visualize what is happening to Ben, and what he is doing.

Spy School is about a kid named Ben who is sent to spy school. He finds out that becoming a spy is harder than he thought. In school, he makes quite a few friends, but also a handful of enemies. The book is full of twists and red herrings. A big theme in this book is to never trust anyone, and it is present in the students Ben interact with. If you like books that contain a mix of mystery, action, and twists, then this book is for you.

MissYaremcio Great review Lance! If you enjoy this type of novel, let me know and I can point you in the direction of another great novel! 6/6 4y

Back to school so trying to find books to put on my bookshelves for the kids. Could not read the last three chapters. I know these are YA but they are boring YA! No true character traits, now that I think of it, I couldn‘t tell you what the main character looks like. Maybe this is why Harry Potter is so great, we all knew who Harry was and what he looked like by Chapter 2!! Writing a great story is an art😀

TheYummyDish Read the graphic version to see the character 2y
