Most of the advice/annecdotes were written in a religious and prayer format, which didn't really appeal to me, there were some written in bullet points and lists also. reading it, it felt a bit random in parts to me, but I did enjoy the parts about Kristin being adopted and her feelings towards her adoptive parents and her birth parents.
