Eh…. Well, I finished this on audio while jigsaw puzzling but I can‘t say much great about it. It‘s mostly meh. The MC is annoying and apparently I one in this book - whether they own hotels or a flower farm - thinks twice about money. I don‘t think my book group is going to like it at all, but I hope we can find enough to discuss!
I really liked this book! I‘m glad #mytbr recommended it to me! About a magical land in Mexico that grows flowers that can be enchanted. The only thing that was super unrealistic was how many flights they took! They have a lot of money from the flower business with how many flights they kept hopping on at a drop of a hat.

Harlow‘s life is stagnating until she returns to her family‘s magic flower farm
The initial conflict w/the soon to be ex… I was team that guy, until he suddenly said something racist. She tried to bail on his important work function, was upset he wanted her to not be dressed like Faith Lahane & showed up late. How would I feel if this was genderswapped & a man showed up late & was wondering why he couldn‘t go dressed like Adam Sandler? 0 sympathy⬇️
What a sweet story about love and flowers. If you need something sweet and easy, this is a good one for you.
I put #mytbr on hold for most of this year. I just started my membership back up because I‘ve been reading a lot of meh books. I‘m hoping some recs from Book Riot will help me out of it.
Have you read any of these books? They seem perfect for fall!
Made it to chapter 6 and had to bail. For some reason I found the main character annoying and there really are too many similarities to the movie Encanto. Just could not stay focused on this one…
My final book for June & it‘s a soft pick. I liked the premise of a magical family flower farm in Mexico & the daughter or cousin without magical powers coming back home to find herself. (It‘s been compared to Encanto which I didn‘t see so I‘m no expert.🤷🏻♀️ I loved the family & wanted more time with them & the flowers rather than the love interest & the angst that went along with it. (The author is a YA writer & I felt is showed a bit. The ⬇️
I was supposed to start listening to Tales from the Cafe, but when I got my monthly Audible credit I felt inclined to grab this one. Felt like something magical…
The latest in my started but likely to be set aside stack (because I‘m having to move so quickly from one to another, not because it isn‘t potentially going to be good).
