I loved THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME, so I went into this with my hopes too high. It fell flat for me as distant half-siblings try to learn the truth about their father‘s unexpected death. While the plot holds some surprises, I never felt invested in the relationships described & by the end, it all felt too implausible. Maybe had I connected with any of the characters, it would‘ve been more fun to read— though I‘m sure it would be fun to discuss.
