This was a really good mystery. I did not see the twist coming. The protagonist was a bit whiny and not very likable because he began the story being very self-involved, but he became a better person through this adventure 👍

pickThis is a mystery with magic, mostly set on a boat. Everyone is goddess blessed except D. He lied to everyone, so they think he‘s blessed. Murders start to happen and he‘s the main suspect. Lots of characters and different provinces. I don‘t agree with comparing this to Agatha Christie if she wrote fantasy… can you honestly compare anyone to her? This is a debut novel.
I caved and bought a book because it was pretty. I mean, the blurb was also good, but look at those edges 😍.
My only plans tonight are to read this book, eat too much pasta, and cuddle a tired puppy (who had a great time at doggy daycare). Happy weekend!!!
