Spring has finally arrived. It has warmed up outside and I can read outside (my favourite reading place). I am becoming obsessed with acotar. Already ordered some acotar merch on line. Now I finally understand the popularity of these books.

So my Litsy friends. Which one should I start with, which should I skip?

staci.reads Circe is incredible if you're in the mood for a feminist myth retelling. House in the Cerulean Sea is so endearing and hits the heart if that's more your mood right now. Bith 5 star books for me but completely different experiences. 1w

(Book 3 of 2025) I feel like this book moves at a slower pace than Fourth Wing, but it's just as great. Cannot wait to start book 3.

Book 2 is underway. I am enjoying this more than the Crescent City series but not as much as #acotar yet.

When I first started reading, I did not know if I would like this book. I was a little confused on the world and magic system. However, once I got about 80 pages in, things started making more sense and the story picked up. After that I was hooked.

I think this author‘s just not for me. Besides the vampires and age difference this was basically A Touch of Darkness, and I greatly dislike that once again the FMC doesn‘t TALK to anyone about her issues!! The ending left me with too many questions, not enough answers. And one more thing in the comments bc I guess it‘s a spoiler? Even if I saw it coming the MOMENT it was hinted at.

1.5 stars | #romantasy #romance

MsRadioSilence I don‘t like reincarnation plot lines, especially when I‘m hit over the head with them. The minute they started talking about the High Coven, I KNEW. It was only a question of who, and even then it was HELLA obvious. 1mo
5feet.of.fury I like a lot of books by this author but I had a really hard time with this one. It‘s a mess. 1mo
MsRadioSilence @5feet.of.fury I read the back of the book for the sequel when it came out in ‘22 and I was interested! But I don‘t think I‘m going to continue, esp with ratings so low and multiple people talking about second book syndrome lol 1mo

This was a truly amazing read. It had so much whimsy and emotion in it. The ending had me on the verge of tears. I strongly recommend reading this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
