pickI loved this book! A bit out there, yes. But that‘s what reading is for me- a place to temporarily escape normality. Merritt is hilarious, Delphie‘s growth is what life is all about, and Cooper‘s dreamy-ness is, well dreamy, even when he‘s broody. A fun, fluffy, romance book full of emotion that I happily read in a day. Book #113 in 2024
pickDelphie chokes on a bite of hamburger and ends up in the Afterlife. Jonah arrives in the Afterlife at the same time, and as soon as they meet it seems as though they're soulmates. Delphie's Afterlife therapist Merritt realizes that Jonah is only a "visitor" to the Afterlife, though, and isn't actually meant to die.

pickI think my favorite place to suspend disbelief is in a sweet romance. I loved how this all came together at the end - some of which I anticipated but other aspects were a fun surprise.
