Since I couldn't find the Under the Mistletoe, I just tagged my favorite story, although All By My Elf by Olivia Dade is tied for my favs. Sadly, Tessa Bailey almost blew this collection for me. I hated it. The other two stories were fine, but not memorable. Still, the top 2 make this a solid win for me because I adored them so much.
pickThis was so cute!! At 2 hours, it was a perfect listen for my drive time today. The story is a forced proximity story between two childhood friends-to-lovers. The tropes are all fantastic and even though this is a quick read, it didn‘t feel too short. This is my 4th novella by Hazelwood and I think she does a great job making shorter-length stories feel pretty developed. The narrator, Vivienne LaRue, did a wonderful job.

pick4 ⭐This was adorable. This is my first Ally Hazelwood, but she‘s gained popularity very quickly and I see why. This book takes place mostly in California and northern Chicago. This is about two people who grew up together. One‘s been in love with their entire life and the other had to come to the realization that this beautiful man is more than her best friend‘s little brother, but the love of her life. This was a heartfelt short story

pickA short love story taking place during a winter storm at Christmas. This was a pleasant listen while sewing.
Childhood crush/best friend's brother romance. Sweet, but with a constant edge of creepy. The MMC persists in sounding like a little boy -- when he talks about all he wants to give her, I'm imagining a Barbie dream house. The FMC has commitment issues deeply rooted in... almost nothing, as far as I can tell. Most of the main relationships in her life seem remarkably stable.

pickThis was a much sweeter story than the last one I listened to in this series. Two childhood friends get snowed in together and are forced to face their past and the love that‘s always been there. Short, sweet, and funny at times. Not the best character development since it‘s so short but I still enjoyed it. 🌟🌟🌟
