May was so crazy with me being sick at the end of April/beginning of May (had a sore throat of some kind) and with packing and moving into my new space, that reading became secondary for me and was only able to complete one book last month. Hopefully this month will be more successful. Here is my #bookspin and #roll100 for this month.
The month started off well, but then fell away badly due to issues I have had to deal with in a voluntary role. If it wasn‘t for audiobooks I wouldn‘t have got to many books in the second half of the month.
Hoping for better in July.
My June recap. It was a great month for reading! I managed to finish 14 books & really enjoyed almost all of them. I kept up with my #SundayBuddyRead #Pemberlittens #CampLitsy23 #SeriesLove2023 #TitlesAndTunes & DiverseCozy challenges. I read pretty diversely too with multiple LGBTQIA+ characters & themes, a neurodivergent character & books set in Turkey, India, New Zealand, Mexico the UK & San Francisco‘s Chinatown. The top row are my standouts.
My June wrap up 📚😁. Best of the month were Fresh Water for Flowers, Poverty, by America, No Two Persons, and Some Desperate Glory. If you plan to visit Italy the Rick Steves was pretty helpful. Nothing here I didn‘t like!
How can it be July already?? 😭😭 Despite taking the day off yesterday, I didn‘t finish three of the four books I wanted to finish for June, but I still read a lot. Most of it was just okay and forgettable, though, which makes me a little sad. Surprisingly, for the second month this year, a nonfiction title takes my best book of the month spot. I really enjoyed Prisoners of History. #junewrapup #junestats
June was an amazing reading month! Tons of books, most of which I liked or loved. The Love Hypothesis was my favorite, but I would honestly recommend so many of these.

@Andrew65
A bit late in posting but my goals for #joysofjune are to finish Silent Scream, Bunny (on kindle), Look What You Made Me Do (on audible) and to make a good start on A Wizard of Earthsea ♥️
A bit late, but here are my reading selections for June.

My June #TBR is ambitious with readalongs for #CampLitsy2023 (loving Bandit Queens so far!) #PemberLittens #SundayBuddyRead #DiverseCozy & #TitlesandTunes (the first 6 books). The bottom 4 are work reads for the 3 leadership classes I teach that are read in weekly sections. Finally the middle 6 are books I hope to read for SeriesLove2023 & other book clubs/challenges & just because. As usual I remain a moody reader & we‘ll see where I end up!😉
#June2023 #BookSpin #DoubleBookSpin #SeriesLove2023
These are my books with the Bingo numbers for June.
My #BookSpin is #17 Death of A Chimney Sweep.
My #DoubleSpin is #12 Do You Remember.
I updated my June TBR to reflect the #bookspin and #doublespin books. When I went to screenshot the double spin book, though, I discovered I‘d already read it (Oops) so I replaced it with the next book in the same series. I hope that‘s not cheating. 😳
I‘ve added a bit of pressure to myself for June with #camplitsy23, #bookspin, and #titlesandtunes on top of some library books and a June release from NetGalley. We‘ll see how it goes. I have a feeling a library book or two may get returned unread. 🤷🏻♀️ #JuneTBR
Here‘s my #junebookspin bingo list ; not in order as I may have to cheat alittle with my bingo card for June 🤭 thanks again Sarah @TheAromaofBooks ☺️ glad you‘ve sorted the Litsy app out
My June #bookspin list! This is mostly my #14books14weeks2023 list, some audiobooks, the end of my #chunksterchallenge2023 and a couple of my 23 in ‘23 picks. I‘m hoping for a productive month and some great reading!
Looking forward to the numbers you pull…as always, thank you for hosting, @TheAromaofBooks books 📚

I‘ve been in a weird reading mood the past couple months, so I‘m using June as a “catch-up” for the books I meant to read for previous #bookspin lists this year.

Gah! Another month gone!! May has also been a little crazy for me (maybe life is just crazy now?? 😂) and life is going faster than ever!! Loving this warm, sunny weather, though. After I post this, I'm off to the garden to finish putting in our tomatoes!! YAY!!
If you're wanting to play along with BookSpin/BookSpinBingo for June, it's time to start thinking about your lists!! As always, let me know if you want to be added or removed from the ⬇
June recap! Pretty sure this was a record number for me, helped by graphic novels and audiobooks:
🚫1 DNF, a #roll100 title
✅ read the other 2 #roll100 titles
✅ read both #bookspin and #doublespin
✅ read 1 #camplitsy buddy read
✅ read #diversecozy buddy read
✅ 9/10 were from my TBR 🥳
Today is the last day of June. I‘m sharing the books that I read this month. After reading Foxe‘s Book Of Martyrs, I felt like I needed some light and fun books to read so I decided to finish the Gustafer Yellowgold series and I read the first short story collection in the Dorothy Must Die series and this was a reread for me. I‘m rereading the series so I can read the last book.

Celebrating these lovely Littens on their birthdays in June.
If you'd like to get some #BirthdayLove and fairy dust from the #BirthdayFairies sprinkled over your special day, send your birthday and Litsy handle to litsybirthdays@gmail.com. Please remember, you can only sign up for yourself.
Here are my stacks for June #bookspinbingo! I put more of the fatties on the left, so they‘re a little uneven looking. There‘s one book I may swap out before the numbers are drawn, but I haven‘t decided yet.

I‘m sharing the book titles the random letter generator chose for me to read in June as well as some reading statistics from Storygraph. I was only going to read 5 books in June but I was having so much fun fulfilling reading challenge prompts so I decided to pick out 3 more books that would fulfill 3 more prompts. I don‘t know if I‘m going to use the random letter generator every month but it‘s a fun way of choosing what to read next.

I‘m a little late with my Readathon wrap up. My goals were:
🕣 Read for 8 hours (1 hour per day) ❌ I only read for 5 hours and 34 minutes. It was a really busy week with work and family.
📚 Finish Suspicious Origin ✅
📚 Begin another book from my #bookspinbingo card. ✅
I really need work to slow down so I can get back my reading time…but I suppose the money for all of those extra hours is always nice! 🤷♀️ #brightside
I have completed @Andrew65 's #JoysOfJune readathon as my goals were to:
📚 Read Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell
📚 Read The Guest List by Lucy Foley
📚 Finish Dolly Parton Storyteller My Life in Lyrics by Dolly Parton
Coming to #joysofjune late because life, but my goal is simple: FINISH A BOOK. I‘ve been very good this month about starting books and less good about finishing. Here‘s hoping to narrowing down my currently reading list.
For @Andrew65 's #JoysOfJune readathon my goals are to:
📚 Read Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell
📚 Read The Guest List by Lucy Foley
📚 Finish Dolly Parton Storyteller: My Life in Lyrics
#JoysofJune @Andrew65
My life is a little crazy at the moment and I have a super busy week ahead, mostly because of work, so my reading time is really limited. Hopefully, this Readathon will keep me focused on reading in my free time. I‘m setting some easy, but realistic, goals for myself.
🕗 Read for a total of 8 hours (1 hour per day).
📚 Finish my current read - Suspicious Origin.
📚 Begin another book from my #Bookspinbingo card
Here are my never gonna happen goals for the #joysofjune #readathon. Two books currently in progress, a couple of audiobooks, and the rest of the books I need to tie into the goal calendar I created for myself at the beginning of the month. Not included is my #lmpbc book because it hasn‘t shown up yet. If it shows up this week, I will squeeze it in here. 🤩
Tomorrow is the start of the #JoysofJune Choose Your Own Goals readathon. 🥳 I need to finish up An Unnecessary Woman by Rabih Alameddine for #Booked2021 and The English Patient by Ondaatje for #14Books14Weeks2021 . After that, I think I will start The Widows by Jess Montgomery... and then? Who can say... 🤔
Saturday sees the start of the #JoysofJune 9 day Readathon, where you get to choose your own goals to work towards over those nine days. Perfect to take part in a Readathon that you can adapt to your circumstances at this time.
All welcome.
Hope you‘ll join us. If joining us, let us know what you are reading.
Here‘s my living #bookspinbingo card for June! It‘s all my #botm backlist books. I‘m hoping to get at least 5 of these read, then keep working on the card past June to blackout, hopefully by the end of the year. 🤞🏼I figure I‘ll try to fill in the free spaces during the month so it will be a “true” blackout.
