Enjoying a little cozy reading time tonight 😊 I love the illustrations in this story!

I read one of my favorite stories again for a couple of reasons this month! It was my #bookspin but I am also pregnant!!! My mom read to me throughout her whole pregnancy, and I want to carry on that tradition! What better book to start with than this?! My hubby and I are so excited to welcome our little hobbit next May!! 😊🥳💜

It‘s still in progress, but I‘m mixing a little holiday stitching in with my reading of the tagged book today! 😄🦈🎄

Not feeling well today, so I‘m taking that as a sign to cozy up under a blanket and enjoy some books for the #cozyreads readathon 📚🍁

I had read this once before, but forgotten most of it, so this reread was a lovely reminder of what a delightful story this is! Highly recommend 🚂📚

I had no idea that both of these were such chunksters!! 975 for the tagged and almost 700 for The Book of Elsewhere! These will keep me busy for awhile 🤣

This was such a fun middle-grade read! I‘ll be getting the rest of the series from my library once I read some of my other library books 😊 Definitely recommend if you‘re looking for a light-hearted read!

For anyone feeling overwhelmed by their TBR pile! 📚📚📚

Has anyone else on Litsy tried the Caffeine and Legends book box? I received it as an early birthday gift and really love it! No clue what I‘ll think of the book, but all of the extra goodies are so fun! You can choose between tea, coffee, or hot chocolate and then there‘s usually a couple of other goodies! I‘m especially excited about the brown sugar saver 😍

What a fantastic book! The action kept me really engaged, but more than anything, it was great to get to spend more time with the characters from the original Star Wars movie trilogy (even if I can‘t quite get over the heartbreaking bits). I‘ll definitely be reading the rest of this series 💙📚

The weekend is off to a good start! Kitty snuggles, my book spin read (tagged), a cozy simmer pot, flowers from hubby, and a very serious dispute between Phil and I (top left) over who is, in fact, the rightful owner of that bookmark. Don‘t tell him, but it‘s me 😂 What is everyone reading this weekend?

My August #bookspin list😊📚📖 I can‘t believe it‘s already August!! I‘ve missed the book spin challenge a lot, so I‘m excited to be joining in again (although I‘m not ambitious enough to attempt bingo just yet 😂)

My weekend has been lovely so far! Hubby & I had a staycation honeymoon & have been reading, gaming, & watching shows! 📚 Next week, I‘ll be writing thank you notes, outlining my next fantasy novel, and working on an audio short story project with hubby! For book recommendations, I‘m really enjoying the tagged book and for shows, we just finished The Chosen, which is phenomenal!! #SaturdayChatterday If you see this, consider yourself tagged 😊

I tried to read this one and just can't. While I understand that ghost writing is a thing, the actual author of this story, Kathleen McGurl, shared on her blog that Millie gathered research, put together family history and some plot ideas, and then Kathleen wrote the first draft and did the bulk of the work. And yet, this is being praised as Millie's debut novel. ⬇️
