A lovely afternoon spent with the girls at the Christmas Tree Festival 🎄🎄
Starting this tonight. Second Christmas book of December 🎄📕
A heart warming short story featuring Christmas and books. Maureen‘s great aunt violet is seriously ill but has one last request. She wants to be reunited with a book from her childhood. Mirren sets out on an enchanting journey from London to Hay on Wye and to Edinburgh in search of the cherished book. She meets Theo along the way who is looking for the same book. They join forces but are Theo‘s efforts purely for good? A cosy winter read 🎄⛄️📕
Very true 💕 📕
There are no sender details but I received this today, not sure if it‘s for #jolabokaflod ? @MaleficentBookDragon
#Two4Tuesday
1. The first cup of tea of the day with a 🍪
2. Patience - she‘s looking for a valuable book and searching all over the country for it.
Those eyes! The dogs were great at helping decorate the tree. The crackers and candy canes are up high!!

#5joysfriday
1. The girls and I went to the cinema to watch Wicked.
2. Belle 🐾
3. Lola 🐾
4. I‘ve read some really great books so far this month, not one of them has been a Christmas read!
5. Tomorrow we are putting up the tree 🎄
The Villain and Evie are still working to save the kingdom of Rennedawn. The Villain is becoming weaker so brave Evie steps up and learns new villainous skills e.g dagger throwing. Are they strong enough together to fight the dark powerful forces at play by the King. Full of angst, tension and romance. The pacing wasn‘t as fast as book one but you learn more about each character. I love how strong Evie is and how badass she could really be!
I‘ve been waiting for my daughter to finish this. Now it‘s my turn….
I‘ve had a parcel delivered today, (wasn‘t expecting one) but there are no sender details anywhere. Not sure if it is for #jolabokaod24
@MaleficentBookDragon
I‘m reading so many good books at the moment!
Went out for a walk and found lots of lovely post box toppers created by the Worcester Knit & natter group. How cute are they! 🎄 🧶
I‘ve seen so many people getting stressed about Christmas. This year I‘ve told myself that it‘s more important who is around the tree than what‘s under the tree 💕
#two4tuesday
1. Remote cabin - as long as there is electricity, books and tea, oh and I can take my fur babies 🐶
2. Read the tagged book last year and loved it.
Just got back from watching Wicked at the cinema. Keira and I loved it. Only a year to wait for part 2 😮
I loved the first book in the series. I really hope this one is just as good!
Sasha takes a break away from work and life in London. She returns to the seaside resort she loved as a child, determined to reset her batteries and find peace.
Only the hotel is now off season and crumbling to pieces. She has to share the beach and hotel with a grumpy man who has his own issues to deal with.
I felt the plot was quite static and not a lot happened. The characters were eccentric and the hotel couldn‘t function in real life. 3🌟
My new Christmas wax melts arrived. Question is, who one do I use first?
#two4tuesday
1. We always take the dogs out for a night walk so the girls can look at all the houses that are decorated
2. Any that features a cosy Christmas storyline with a happy ending
Thank you for the tag @TheSpineView
My Saturday night reading buddy (Belle) ❤️🐶🐾📚
Weekend reading. I‘ve been a big fan of Sophie Kinsella so I‘m hoping this one is just as good as her other books. 📚💕
An enchanting story about a young librarian who possesses the gift of bringing words to life. Iliad receives a proposal from a member of royal family and sets off to find out more about her suitor. It becomes apparent that her middle class background with no fortune or title has not prepared her for royal life.
Great characterisation and several other secondary storylines add to the overall reading experience. 4🌟

My eldest (Keira, 18) ) has heard back from the four universities she‘s applied for. They‘ve all accepted her! Proud mum alert 🌟
Cardiff, Birmingham, Oxford Brooke‘s and Worcester!!
I loved exploring Dexter and Emma‘s relationship from graduating university to celebrating milestones together. The snapshots of their lives provided so much detail that could be related to. The writer showed how life can change in the blink of an eye and the characterisation enabled the reader to feel like you were peeking into their lives.
Refreshing to have a woman‘s character told from a male author. I now need to watch the tv series! 4🌟

I‘m really getting into this now. I‘m loving the twists and turns of Dexter and Emma‘s relationship. Going to definitely watch the series on Netflix after finishing the book. 📖
Hope everyone is having a good day.
I‘ve been at work since 3am, took the dogs out and now going uni work. Looking forward to getting in bed tonight!
Tomorrows plans 💕
The weather has been awful here - wind, rain and cold temps. So after I finish work tomorrow morning I‘m going home and not venturing outside until Monday morning 😂❤️🛋️
#soundslikeaplan #myweekendisbooked
Starting this tonight as it‘s been on my TBR for a while. I‘m in a routine now of one kindle book followed by one paperback. My TBR seems to be reducing!
Hope everyone is ok x
Litsy love being sent out tomorrow ❤️📮

This story takes place at Bletchley Park, 1923. Vivian wants to follow the rules and take care of her sister. One night this changes in the blink of an eye. A lifeline is thrown to Vivian by the prime minister to work as a codebreaker - if she accepts and succeeds her family will be freed.
The more she learns, the more she begins to understand how corrupt the government really is. She has to choose which side she is fighting for.

Not sure what Lola (originally from Spain) makes of this white stuff 🐶🐾💕😂❄️
I‘m not normally a fan of fantasy stories, but I‘m loving this one. Set in 1923 where humans share the world with dragons. It won‘t take me long to finish this!

Have a good weekend everyone xx
A foggy morning on Worcester bridge today, it looks so gothic!
I‘d heard so many things about this book, I had to read it to make my own mind up.
Exploring Finn and Autumns relationship from childhood using flashbacks was a great way to keep the reader wanting more. As a young adult story it deals with several emotive issues and I found it quite raw and intense in parts.
Beautiful writing that captured my heart, Delicate passages written with purpose. I was rooting for them both despite guessing the ending.
