This story takes place at Bletchley Park, 1923. Vivian wants to follow the rules and take care of her sister. One night this changes in the blink of an eye. A lifeline is thrown to Vivian by the prime minister to work as a codebreaker - if she accepts and succeeds her family will be freed.
The more she learns, the more she begins to understand how corrupt the government really is. She has to choose which side she is fighting for.

Not sure what Lola (originally from Spain) makes of this white stuff 🐶🐾💕😂❄️
I‘m not normally a fan of fantasy stories, but I‘m loving this one. Set in 1923 where humans share the world with dragons. It won‘t take me long to finish this!

Have a good weekend everyone xx
A foggy morning on Worcester bridge today, it looks so gothic!
I‘d heard so many things about this book, I had to read it to make my own mind up.
Exploring Finn and Autumns relationship from childhood using flashbacks was a great way to keep the reader wanting more. As a young adult story it deals with several emotive issues and I found it quite raw and intense in parts.
Beautiful writing that captured my heart, Delicate passages written with purpose. I was rooting for them both despite guessing the ending.
Sim lives with his mum who has a great power. She can open doors in time. Sim and his mum are being trailed by the Council who govern the doors. They are in a mission to solve the mystery of the missing scarab and end up transporting back to ancient Egypt and searching through tombs. Piecing together clues along the way, can they solve the mystery without being caught? I love all of the authors books.
Can‘t wait for the next in the series!
A great way to use leftover pumpkin. 🎃
I‘ve spent the afternoon baking homemade doggie treats. I made oat and pumpkin biscuits and peanut butter & pumpkin rolled oat fridge treats. Question is…. Do Belle & Lola deserve a treat? 🐾🐶❤️💕🐾😍
The last book in the series. I‘ve loved all the books and the final instalment didn‘t disappoint. Tilly, Oskar, Milo and Alessia go on one final adventure together only to discover everything they believed to be now be questionable. A great friendship and bond between them all is definitely the message throughout. The writing is so creative!
A great read, full of action yet bitter sweet.
I‘ll always be a book wanderer fan at heart.

1. Sunrise- especially when our walking with the dogs 🐶🐾💕
2. Magic, adventure, fantasy ✨
Thank you for the tag @Eggs @TheSpineView
This paragraph, sums up our love of reading really. 🌍❤️📚
The last book to be read in the series. Hope it doesn‘t disappoint!
Tilly & Milo prepare for a final showdown with the Alchesmist. Horatio is trapped in an enchanted sleep so this leaves Milo to live his own adventure. This journey leads Milo and friends to the Treehouse library - home of the Botanist, enemy of the Alchemist.
They journey in to some classic children‘s books looking for clues to help them prepare to battle with the Alchemist. I still love the idea of book wandering and travelling to magical places
Just been approved to read these ARCs - question is, which one done read first?? 😂

I‘ve loved this series and read all the books so far. I‘ve now got hold of the final two books. 📚
This story follows the life of Dylan and how her personal and professional life erupts into chaos. Dylan is sent back to her home town for a new job role that will offer her the chance to climb her career ladder if successful. She moves back into her family home who are forever arguing with neighbours. Her relationship with her boyfriend is wilting and moving home hasn‘t helped either.
The story genre is more women‘s fiction than rom com. 3🌟
Starting this today. I‘ve had it for over two years on my kindle 😂
My favourite book of 2024 so far! A warm, uplifting and unputdownable book. The author writes with humour and suspense, and brings diversity to her storytelling.
An isolated witch, Mika, is given the opportunity to embrace a new job, a new family and a new home. Looking after three young witches brings challenges. Magic isn‘t the only challenge that comes knocking at the door to Nowhere house.
A perfect mix of magic, family and romance. 5🌟
On our morning walk, Lola couldn‘t take her eyes off the squirrels 🐿️ and we found a huge ball of mistletoe 🌳 so many pretty colours on display 🍁
Happy Monday ❤️
Have a great week, anybody got anything excited planned? My week consists of work, uni work and Christmas shopping
I‘m in my early 40‘s and this already applies to me 😂
I‘ve had this book for a while. The perfect time to read this now. 🍁🎃🧙
Jess, a cottage witch has to team up with a handsome stranger to save her home town from an evil rift. Jess finds out she is the ‘chosen one‘ and now searches for the ‘Bringer of light‘. Jess must learn to trust others in the hope she can work her magic in time.
This entertaining paranormal romance had me captivated from the start. A fast paced cute yet delightful read. Highly recommended for readers of romance and witch stories.

A nice quiet week for me @DebinHawaii
I‘ve been saving up my witch themed books for the rest of October. Here‘s the one I started today 🧙
My first graphic novel. Two teens work together every autumn at a local pumpkin patch attraction. This Halloween will be their last as they go off to college.
They reminisce about the times they‘ve worked together and want their last night to be an adventure.
Graphic novels like this aren‘t my thing but it definitely gave autumn/Halloween vibes. It was beautifully illustrated, the story focused on friendship and connections with memories.
