It‘s wet and windy here so thought I‘d read a cosy festive book 📕 🛋️
pickThree women just trying to get by. Beth, a business owner, has a new born baby and a happy marriage (or is it?) Ruby, has a beautiful daughter, independent woman but hiding a secret and Lauren, insta star and successful (but for how long?). One event brings these women together but they show that women supporting women can be the strongest thing ever. We need to accept who we are, be happy and find peace. I loved it 4🌟

This book had some promising elements but I just didn‘t connect with the characters. 3🌟
A day out at Wyre Forest. A picnic was packed, the dogs jumped in the stream and the girls let off steam. My feet hurt now!

pickA psychological thriller that I couldn‘t put down! Eve has a good life, good husband and is a high school maths teacher. Last year, the school where she teaches was rocked by a scandal involving a student/teacher affair. That student was Addie. This year Addie is in Eve‘s maths class and her husbands English class. There are so many twisting secrets and a great revenge plot. It was such a quick read with short chapters.

pickAvery‘s life has changed so much over the past year but the biggest game of all is still to be played. Avery and the Hawthorne brothers are drawn into a dangerous game against an unknown player who could end them all.
This series has everything - action, intrigue, suspense and great characterisation. The bond between Avery and the brothers is undeniable. The love triangle was in the background but the mystery and games remained at the forefront.
I‘m a tea drinker. I never drink coffee but I love the smell of it 😂

1. I love to colour with my girls. They have some lovely therapy books. I also take my dogs into the woods and try to just listen for different sounds.
2. Something just light and happy, rom-com.
pickAvery is still looking for so many answers to her questions, why was she left an entire fortune? Following clues with the Hawthorne brothers they begin to find a deep connection. Grayson and Jameson are also both fighting for Avery but there are threats lurking around every corner.
Full of family intrigue and suspense, with every page read the reader gets closer to solving the puzzle and I can‘t wait to see what happens in book 3.

Today, in the UK we celebrate World Book Day. I saw so many children walking to school in some great outfits. I love the fact that every child will receive a book token today which can be exchanged for a book. This could be the first book that some children may own. Encouraging the next generation to read is so important ❤️💕
