What a beautiful and profound book. I am not sure yet, if I have fully understood the meaning of this story. But it was beautiful and heart wrenching and has a lesson in it for anyone who reads it. Beautiful.

This book will stay with me for a long time. There are many amazing passages in the book that take your breath away, they are so profound.

TheBookHippie We loved this last year for SUNDAY buddy read February. I still think of it. One of my favorite reads of all time. 2y

This was an informative book that talked about the very serious consequences of climate change on the city of Miami. The decisions that are being made by a multitude of groups will all have long term impacts on Miami's future. It's was insightful, interesting and heartbreaking to listen to this book and know that people will be harmed due to the drastic changes that climate change and sea level rise will force on the residents of Miami.

This book felt different then her previous two in the series. This story feels like it is gearing up for something big with all the characters she is introducing. The sex scenes were still streamy as always. But there was a major plot point created at the end of the story that I hope will develop into something throughout the rest of the series. It really adds to the whole story to have a strong plot.

This was an okay read, I liked parts of it, there were parts that really grabbed my attention, but ultimately was left feeling not invested in the characters or the story overall and just wanted to get the book over with. Meh.

This was a profound read about how the history of America has been impacted by black women and how that same country has impacted them. This book takes us through slavery, Jim crow and after and it exposed how Black women were treated by White Women, Black Men and the wider country. Very insightful and thought provoking.

This book was profound in it's message of rest and relaxation and how this simple act of closing our eyes, or day dreaming can be acts of resistance against a white supremacist system that expects us to grind for capitalism. Excellent narration. I'll have to reread this book on a regular basis once a year so I can really comprehend the messages within this book.

BookBosomed1 I received this book as a Christmas gift. I'll need to move it up on the TBR priority list.

This was a profound read that asks you to reflect on the intersection of race, gender, patriarchy and how we all have privileges and oppressions. It's was throught provoking and engaging on a very hard topic around how men, Black men specifically are influenced by white supremacy and Patriarchy and how that shows up in Modern Day America. Well done

This was a beautiful, heart warming and heart wrenching story about an old man who has lost his wife but found family in his little neighborhood. Beautiful, excellent, marvelous, a delightful story about loss, life and beautiful moments that make us human.

I can't say enough good things about this book. Read it, it should be required reading for everyone. It's magnificent!

Last #LMPBC Read for 2022. Here's my review.

This was an interesting premise for a psychological thriller, but it feel flat for me in a lot of ways. It didn't feel scary for me, it felt tedious to continuously read the unfortunate things that were happening to the main characters. The ending was good, if a bit sad. 3.5 Stars. Decent, Okay Read. I won't be reading the sequel.

I'll mail it out today.

This book explores the four women that helped bring the idea and acceptance of Divorce into the mainstream conversation within the United States. These women's stories were rife with drama, gossip and beauty. It was so well researched and laid out in a way that makes the whole history acceptable. This was an excellent reflection on how aspects of Sikhism can transform people's lives. This book isn't about asking anyone to convert but is more a gift to think about aspects of Giving, Serving and Love and how if we work to incorporate these aspects into our lives we can have more fulfilling lives. Beautiful, well done. Loved the authors voice as he narrates the teachers of the 10 gurus. Brilliant.
