A little late but better than never. I didn't reach my goal of 100 books this year but I'm still pretty happy with 59. The last year and a half hasn't been the best but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Points for second half came in at 46,847 giving a total for the whole month of 84,816. Most were from the word search throughout the month. I read some good books and had lots of fun. Well done @LiseWorks for being our team captain. And all the others too. Yay to our team for each point they got.

Since I haven‘t posted here in quite a while I thought I‘d reintroduce myself.

I‘m Gabrielle. My favorite genres are Fantasy and Historical Fiction. And when I‘m not reading I can be found playing Disney Dreamlight Valley (I‘m addicted) or stocking the shelves at Kroger.

I‘m also 34 today.

Happy New Year, Littens! Definitely NOT my best year reading. Ashleigh's senior year + BFA audition process = decrease in reading, but I wouldn't change a thing. Here's to a goal of 80 books in 2024!

Ok nowwww I can share my year in books 🤣 I fell short of my 140 book goal but it was still satisfying to end up with 123 for 2023. Now, I stay comfy and cozy at home. I do still have champagne and usually I watch the movie New Year‘s Eve. Then go to bed at a reasonable time!

Sorry I've been MIA.This year was rough all around & it took a toll on me mentally. I took a step back from alot of things I love because of pain, sadness & being tired. It wasn't intentional, it just sort of happened. So as much as I hate New Year's resolutions, I decided to do the things I love again. Reading, Journaling, & Art took a backseat in 2022. This year, they will be driving me back to my old self. Happy New Year's everyone!

Here are the ratings I gave each book I read in 2022. I think the 5 star ratings and 3 star ratings are about the same. I liked a lot of the books I read but I also thought that some of them were mediocre. I only rated 1 book 1 star. I‘m not going to enjoy every book but that‘s okay. That‘s part of being a reader.
