I can't say enough about Mary Stone. I came across her looking for something to listen to before I had to go some place or another. I listened to the first in the Winter's Black Series and was enthralled. The Autumn Trent Series is a spin-off of the Winter Black Series. I am called that the ones from the Winter Black Series show up in Autumn Trent's.

A beautiful story that highlights the power of words to heal and to harm. Sybil is full of flaws and heartbreak as she reaches out to others via written letters or emails. I found myself tearing up multiple times as Sybil discovered the courage to be open with others. I‘m excited for #wintercamplitsy discussions. Even though it‘s only a week into the new year, this will absolutely be in my 10 of 2026.

This was a beautiful and touching story!

I loved the premise. It‘s about a magical bookshop that only appears during cherry blossom season and when certain conditions are met (the person has to be reading the same passage at the same time as the owner). I love reading books about books so naturally the story appealed to me.
