I really enjoyed this read. It‘s one of those books that wasn‘t on my radar at all, and I‘m thankful to @Reggie for picking it for #LMPBC. The characters were all loveable, even the unlikeable ones/ones who had very little page time, and I found the ending so charming. I also found the writing extremely insightful about aspects of gay life, particularly the clash between “respectability” and public or open lifestyles. ⬇️ #catsoflitsy

This book is beyond anything I've read before. Psychologically, it's so chaotic! I'm halfway through and no character is reliable, and I'm questioning everything. It's very unputdownable and I am fully engrossed in figuring out what the heck is going on at Whitehall Manor.

I ended up listening to the audiobook version of this, and I‘m glad I did. The author reads it herself and you can hear the emotions in her voice in certain parts. I liked what she had to say about being a working mother. I‘ll transfer my notes to the book and get it in the mails this week @TheBookHippie @ElizaMarie @bookandbedandtea #LMPBC
