Finished this audiobook today and the weather this morning was just eerily perfect for this read. Happy I got to finally read this

This book is for anyone that grew up with Charmed or Gilmore Girls. It is a good mix of the three gifted sisters living in a small cozy town. I think it is even better, cause its cast of characters are more diverse and it has more spice than those two tv shows it is reminiscent of. This story follows three sisters in their pursuit to keep their town safe from evil forces. Enter Lucien, a shadow coven leader with secret plans…

I got this as an ARC. It is friends to lovers with spice and cuteness. The characters Steph and Ollie are friends that had a one night stand, they end up both in Paris and sexy times ensue. Even though this is book 3 in a series, it can be read as a stand alone. I had not read this author and really enjoyed her writing. Realistic, fun and cute.

My August reads

So this took me forever to finish. It is a slow story and I would pause it read/listen to two other books and then get back to it. I can definitely quit books, but something would not let me do that with this one. After several months I finally finished and can say it is such a beautiful and sad story. Definitely worth the time.

If you are into epic romances #romantasy I totally recommend the legends of thezmar saga. I‘m in book three and it‘s pretty fun, steamy, and has a pretty cool female characters.

This was so freaking cute. It was funny and endearing and just believable.

I finished it, but it was not one of my favorites. I like Tessa, but I don‘t like all her couples.

These were all fun reads, some were dark some were cute. My two personalities 😂

I loved Nasir Pedrad as the narrator. She does a really good job of bringing out this main character. I was not sure which way this was going to go. So I was pleasantly surprised with the positive ending.

Ok, so definitely some white lotus vibes. Horrible people, you know someone is going to die. You don‘t know who you till 3/4s in. I hated every one but enjoyed the ride.

This really hit home, can relate. Loved the authors sense of humor and love when an author reads their audiobook.

Haven‘t finished this, but it is giving me all the feels. Listening to the author tell his story of crossing the border as a kid is heartbreaking

Yesterday, I went to my local bookstore to try and find presents and books for the book exchange and ended up buying books for myself and redeeming a free audiobook in the process.

Had a good day of baking while listening to this audiobook. Also baked 2 loaves of bread. Cant express how much finding Penny Reid and Smartypants Romance has helped me through the pandemic.
