Another Talia Hibbert love story that doesn‘t shy away from difficult conversations.

It was really nice to be lost in one of Hibbert‘s worlds again for a few hours.
This was a very quick read - Libby said I was reading for only 3.5 hours. But somehow it was still a full story with strong characters. I could see places it could have been delved into more, but it really wasn‘t needed.
Great Christmas novella combining cute jokes, spicy moments, and real issues as Hibbert does so well.

Hibbert writes dialogue and character interactions extremely well, and I loved loved loved how the main pair have their own important, on page, friend and family relationships.

Bonus points applied for good communication and honest handling of backstory traumas. Points knocked off for the clipping fast pace with ending that resolved all issues forever in like an hour. Felt a bit like a novel shoehorned into a novella. Low pick.

Desperate to try to read and finish SOMETHING, I found this on my Kindle that I downloaded 3 years ago. I‘m sure this is more a reflection of my mood, but I didn‘t love it. I love a bad boy with a squishy center, but Cash isn‘t really a bad boy. He‘s damaged and instead of being honest with Bailey, he‘s a jerk, and she‘s there to forgive and make it all better. Fix yourself, dude. Anyway - Goodreads goal for the year now met. #150/150

A grouchy ginger bad boy and sweet heroine who takes no sh&t will always get me! This book had some very serious moments and I loved how the MCs got through their pasts to come together.

So I read this earlier in the week, had not had time to post as much this week. This was cute and quick. I do like that this author has a lot of books with diverse couples. #wintergames #teamreadnosedreindeer @StayCurious

The first of the many holiday romances I'm planning on reading, this one combines Talia Hibbert's delightful writing with some very strong family Christmas vibes. It was fun (when not delving into trauma)!

Ah, right, I stopped reading last night because of the loud, sweet mom named Karen. Time to read through lunch and cry about not spending Christmas with my own mom!

A quick and cute Christmas romance story with a quirky, nerdy WOC who is also quite the firecracker. Wish it had been longer though. Seems as though it barely scratched the surface of their back stories, but still an enjoyable and festive read - 3.5/5 ⭐️

In need of a light read so here we go!

My second full holiday romance of 2018 was a good 'un. Talia Hibbert writes great characters with compelling backstories. I instantly connected to Bailey and Cash--so much so that I was almost halfway in before I realized I loved them as individuals but was kind of indifferent to their relationship status. Thankfully, that changed, and I soon began rooting for their HEA as I binge-read into the wee hours.

I made it back to Murchie's today! This time I tried their Nanaimo Bar tea latte while I read MERRY INKMAS. It's my first Talia Hibbert, but it won't be my last.
