panI had been really hyped for this book, so I feel really let down. Especially considering this was likened to throne of glass. For reading of a woman who argues to be allowed to be a warrior, in a world where woman are forbidden from doing so - or risk bringing the end of the world. Everything felt glossed over, to the point I couldn‘t care about when they got together or other characters got hurt.

This is another case of a story with a great idea but not the best execution. I really liked this twist on supernaturals with gargoyles playing the lead role and their purpose being to protect this Relic Room and the Keystone that opens it. The Pull which guides them to these items was a really interesting approach of what you might call a “mate bond” but it‘s with the room rather than a person. #smut

so-soI'm not sure what to think. It was entertaining. Rouke was a gentleman with Violet and spoiled her. But Violet was a bit annoying with her being shy/scared.

I‘m honestly surprised by how much fun I had reading this. I loved the burlesque setting and I‘m intrigued with learning about all these different aliens. I‘m happy there was enough plot to make this feel well rounded and like a full story. I‘m definitely going to continue on. #smut
pickGod of Malice has a really good story. I thought that I knew what to expect and then I read the first chapter. Killian Carson is different that‘s all I will say. He is a true psychopath. Glyndon King got exactly what she wanted and then some. She enjoyed the ride literally. I never imagined that I would read a story where a psychopath would truly fall in love but there‘s a first time for everything. #godofmalice #rinakent
