Pickpick

Everything I like in a cozy mystery. Amateur female sleuth, police detective boyfriend, likable supporting characters, small town setting, and a mystery that I can‘t figure out. I‘ll read more of this series. 4⭐️

This was my April pick for #ThematicCozies #Sport, and also my #BookSpin #DoubleSpin

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!!! Also - I got Indiscretion in the mail yesterday!!! Thank you so much for sending it back, I genuinely forgot you had it 😂 But in fairness I've had The Smile of a Stranger for so long that I literally don't remember who is supposed to get it next! 😂 😂 😂 2d
julieclair @TheAromaofBooks 🤣🤣 Once the structure of #LMPBC disappeared, we dissolved into chaos! 🤪🫠😂 2d

I struggled a bit with the April #Sport prompt for #ThematicCozies, as I‘m not a “sporty” person. But I‘m looking forward to reading this one. In addition to being a runner, the main character also owns a book store. 😉

What will everyone else be reading?

Librarybelle I just picked mine! This one was a little hard, which is good, but I was thrilled there is a Murder, She Wrote title that goes with it: 3w
Graciouswarriorprincess This is my April pick. The Mystery of the Missing Crystal Golf Ball by Jessa Archer. 3w

Crinoline_Laphroaig Roller skating witch cozy and it's only 90 pages long! Perfect since I'm busy this month. 3w
julieclair Tagging @BethM … sorry I skipped you in the original tag list. 🙄 3w
julieclair @Crinoline_Laphroaig A roller skating witch… that‘s an unusual one! 😆🛼🧙‍♀️ Enjoy! 3w
julieclair @Graciouswarriorprincess I considered that one too, as it sounded fun. Looking forward to your review! 3w
julieclair @BarkingMadRead Fun! I wonder if it will include recipes? 3w
julieclair @Librarybelle I struggled a bit with this prompt, too. I love that you found a Murder She Wrote tie in! 3w

It‘s been a busy weekend. I didn‘t want to try to figure out what to read so I kept with this series. Besides this full book I also read a couple of short companion stories to this series. A Deadly Brew and Rockets Dead Glare.

Mehso-so

3.5/5 stars. A little too light on the mystery front.
