Anyone else get a silly high and big grin from swapping out their Kindle stickers? lol

The first month of my book blanket is all done. The two rows of off-white are what I'm using as a break between each month. So far so good on not giving up on it lol
Weekly Favorites for this month
Though how this month is almost over already is beyond me
I've already changed this twice since making it two days ago ... but in theory, this is my final #bookspinbingo list for February
@TheAromaofBooks
This book only picked up for me once Tony took stage. To me Janie doesn't make a good main character. This is the Inspector McLean series, so I want McLean stories, not a Janie one with Tony as a sidekick. If there is another book in the Inspector McLean series, I will only consider reading it if it is actually an Inspector McLean story. Though the blurb for this one had me thinking McLean was going to be the focus again even though he wasn't.
I have a big box filled with projects to frog, & I finally got around to doing some. With this yarn, I plan to knit a sweater to donate (I mail hats & scarves to my aunt, who gives them to homeless shelters). Hoping I can stick with it as a relatively easy project to pick up once in a while & work on as I read. I'm horrible for getting stuck on sleeve Island tho, so we'll see what happens 😩. I've started the yoke while I read the tagged book
Went to get more yarn to make sure I had enough for my book blanket, only to discover that the green was discontinued. So, I got a new green and will start the blanket over from the first green row tonight after work (maybe) while listening to the last RELIC book. Thank goodness I made this discovery in January and not June 😅
There's still some Christmas slush from my mom left in the freezer, so tonight I'm enjoying a glass with my husband while getting in some chapters
Going to try to finish at least one wolf plushie order while listening to my audiobook today
How in the halibut are we halfway through January already ...

I decided today to crochet a book blanket for this year. I can track my books (I'll be going by length) and my husband will get a new blanket. Hopefully I stick with it 🤞
That's me all caught up with DCI Boyd (looking forward to the next release too) and crossing off my #bookspin pick for January

Gonna (hopefully) finish up the baby turtles for this memory game while I finish my audiobook
I enjoy these books more when George isn't in them. The quasi sort-of budding romance aspect feels too forced & not at all like Jessica to me.
This one's a January Book Bingo selection as well as part of a series (in fact, all the books I've read so far this month have been from different series ... never you mind how many are new series started lol).

Taking a few minutes to myself before I have to jump up to get supper cooked then head to work
I always post some form of reading tracker in my library, and I think for this year I've finally settled on this one. I haven't done one like this before, but so far I like it (I might even add one to my reading journal at home 🙈)
My 2025 Reading Journal Part III
These pages are pretty self-explanatory. Trying something new with the First Lines page (going to write in the first line of each book I read as I start them)
#readingjournal #bookjournal
My 2025 Reading Journal Part II
TBR entries in black are on my lists, any entries in color underneath a title are the remaining books in the series.
Series Tracker includes series I've already started & the books I have left to read in them (I checked & last year I either finished or got caught up on 59 series #serieslove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView )
Wishlist is books I want physical copies of
#readingjournal #bookjournal
(Finally) finished the pages for my 2025 reading journal.
Part 1:
Reading goals aren't completely yet
The 2025 page will get 1 square colored for every book read, using different colors for every month
On My Shelf is the unread physical books I own, to be colored in as I read them
#readingjournal #bookjournal
Happy New Year's to all.
I spent the first hour of 2025 with my kobo making Granny squares lol. Starting off with a book from my January Bingo Board that's also the latest in one of the (MANY) series I read lol

My first #bookspinbingo list of 2025. I decided to try making some picks prompts of books I already have (or I'd pre-ordered maybe). I want to give my brain permission to be its chaotic self while not forgetting about the tons of (hopefully) amazing books I already own. Plus, I've been finding myself not wanting to read something when I feel like I have to (which is pressure said brain places on itself, but what can you do)
@TheAromaofBooks
Anyone else stuck in time lately? I am loving that my husband actually got to take a couple of days while the kids were off school and I also had a few days off. My schedule and routine are obliterated and I'm never sure what I'm supposed to be doing at any given time, but am appreciating the living hell out of the past few days, even if I don't read or get as much done as I want to
The tree was all ready today for our family secret Santa swap. We exchanged gifts after my husband got home from work, just before leaving to drive to my parents house for the night
Listening to Over Kill by John Carson and trying out something new. Basically trying my best to get my brain to calm down a little lol
Watching Christmas movies with my monsters (minus one lol) and husband
How my December #bookspinbingo progress has been going so far. I've found myself having less and less reading time as the month progresses, but I suppose it's to be expected. There's always something going on, somewhere to be, and something to do, which makes my social anxiety/anti-peopling/anti-christmas heart and brain go haywire, but I'd do anything for my little monsters

Taking these few quiet Sunday morning minutes to devour a couple of chapters.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
Stayed up way to late to finish this ... no regrets
Trying to get these mittens done for my niece in case my dad comes by tomorrow so I can send them up to her, but also really want to read my book. Guess it's time to switch to the ebook
#knittersoflitsy #litsycrafters
This is how much I love my neice. I am willingly, (without threat, bribe, or blackmail) making this scarf that she wanted, which means sewing in all these ends. My audiobook is the only thing keeping me remotely sane through this ordeal lol
Thank goodness for audiobooks (especially) during market prep times lol
My Dad drove down for the day yesterday and helped me put up two of my new bookshelves. Now comes the hard part, deciding what to put where.
Working on a stuffy for this weekend's Christmas market and contemplating my December tbr
I've been procrastinating with my December #bookspinbingo list because I have a stack of books that are caught up in the mail (Canada Post is on strike) that I was going to use for my list, and now I'm kind of stuck with my brain unable to pick others lol. I'll get it done by tomorrow ... maybe ... I hope
It's so freakin' cold out, making it the perfect evening to spend time working on another hat from my order list and making progress on Crooked Was His Cane by Jack Gatland
Completed by #bookspin and #doublespin picks for November

In the final stretch of my audiobook and one of my current wips. I have zero desire to fill orders and just want to make fun things but alas, I am doing my best to (mostly) be a responsible adult
Also, as a side note, I did horribly in remembering to tag books for #serieslove2024 lol @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
#litsycrafters #litsyknitters
Fellow Canadians, what are you thinking about this season's swaps what with the whole Canada Post strike? I live in a remote area so I have to do all my shopping online (I order things, wait for them to arrive, then ship them out). I'm bummed about the idea of missing out on the part of the holidays I actually look forward to, but also can't bring myself to sign up when there's a very real possibility that I won't be able to meet deadlines.
Getting a few more hats done for upcoming markets and reading a little. Hopefully the ferry will cross tomorrow and we will get home for the weekend
Started a new audiobook while I work on a few re-stock items for next weekend's market and squeeze in some loads of laundry.
Angus King is the narrator on this one, and he's one of my favorites (which is saying something, because I nope out of A LOT of audiobooks because of the narrators voice)
This past Halloween was our 15th anniversary. Safe to say that man gets me
Filled in 10 and 11 from my previous list. Didn't think I'd have the brain power to do it but 11 is my current read from last month and I picked 10 from a recent list on my e-reader so easy peasy lol
Happy November reading everyone
In the craziness of the past week I forgot to work on my November list 🙈 so I whipped this one up real quick with help from my son to assign numbers. I'm currently reading #11 from October so left it as a mood Read in case I don't finish and have to roll it over to November. It's the only space not filled in for October
