Fellow Canadians, what are you thinking about this season's swaps what with the whole Canada Post strike? I live in a remote area so I have to do all my shopping online (I order things, wait for them to arrive, then ship them out). I'm bummed about the idea of missing out on the part of the holidays I actually look forward to, but also can't bring myself to sign up when there's a very real possibility that I won't be able to meet deadlines.
Getting a few more hats done for upcoming markets and reading a little. Hopefully the ferry will cross tomorrow and we will get home for the weekend
Started a new audiobook while I work on a few re-stock items for next weekend's market and squeeze in some loads of laundry.
Angus King is the narrator on this one, and he's one of my favorites (which is saying something, because I nope out of A LOT of audiobooks because of the narrators voice)
This past Halloween was our 15th anniversary. Safe to say that man gets me
Filled in 10 and 11 from my previous list. Didn't think I'd have the brain power to do it but 11 is my current read from last month and I picked 10 from a recent list on my e-reader so easy peasy lol

In the craziness of the past week I forgot to work on my November list 🙈 so I whipped this one up real quick with help from my son to assign numbers. I'm currently reading #11 from October so left it as a mood Read in case I don't finish and have to roll it over to November. It's the only space not filled in for October

Reading time has decreased considerably the last few weeks as I'm getting ready for the first fall fair here (as well as helping my daughters prepare since they have a sale table as well). I usually do 3 sales, and it takes a lot of my time to try to restock between them since, you know, everything is handmade lol. Still chipping away at my tbr though and have completed all but a couple of spaces on my #bookspinbingo board

Just finished my latest adventure with Jessica, now I'm lost lol. I'm having the hardest time picking a new book to read and listen next (I usually have one audiobook and either one physical book or ebook on the go for different reading situations) and it's getting quite frustrating.
Spent the evening finishing up the last chunk of this book and have zero Regrets
Well, it's time for bed, so you know what that means... I'm putting down my paperback to continue reading this on my e-reader so as not to have a light on while my husband sleeps lol

Been having a hard time settling on what to read next when I finish a book lately. There are literally hundreds of books that I want to read but never any one of them at that moment 🤷♀️
My husband gifted me this book yesterday. Barring unforseen circumstances we will be going to Scotland (from Canada) next summer with our kids (21, 13, & 11). I've never really been anywhere except Vegas to get married lol. Any advice on how to make the most of this trip? What to avoid & what must be seen/done? Also, no big hikes or anything, my knees are shot 🫤 Thanks littens
