This was a great quick read. I had picked up awhile back because of the sprayed edges 🫣😂 I will most likely start the second book tonight and finish it by the end of the day tomorrow 🥰
This booooook 😭 so beautifully heartbreaking 💔 I have been inlove with the hunger games for as long as I can remember and this book filled my heart in a way I didn‘t even know I needed ❤️😭 Gah!! Sooooooo gooood ❤️ #catsoflitsy
The last book in the series (for now) 😭 I don‘t want it to end ❤️ This series brought me back to Scotland and made me crave going back so bad! I‘m forever obsessed with this series 🥰 Having the audiobook for the first 2 books definitely helped too!
#catsoflitsy
I am inlove with this series ❤️ While reading the book you can feel the passion and research put in by the author. It‘s truly such a beautiful and tragic story lost to time. I‘m forever grateful to have found this series 🥹❤️ I‘m excited to read the 3rd book in the trilogy but I don‘t want it to end 🥲
My favourite days are cuddle days with books and coffee 🥰 So grateful for my fur babies ❤️ I love when Crumb loves her big brother instead of torments him 🥲🤣
This book was truly amazing 😭❤️ I had borrowed it from the library but now I NEED to buy a physical copy 🥲 This is going to be hard since apparently chapters doesn‘t have the hard copy 🙄🤣 This book made me miss Scotland sooo much. This author writes beautifully! I cannot wait to continue the series 📚😭❤️
This was good in the sense that I wanted a quick read before starting another series. The book itself was meh, predictable and the end was 😒😑 I‘m happy to have read it so I can get it off my bookshelf 🤣
This was SO good 😭❤️ it took some time to get into it but once I got to chapter 4 or 5, I was HOOKED! Three generations of witches and a family that owns the local bourbon distillery have had it out for each other for as long as anyone can remember. In 1997, the town gave up an all their memories for an entire summer.. but why? 🤔
I tried so hard but had to DNF.. I read 165 pages and feel like the story is going no where and is SO boring 🥲 It was in my TBR list so atleast there‘s that 🤣 #catsoflitsy
This was my least favourite book of Freida McFaddens but I did start and finish it in a day 🤣 I found it felt predictable and some parts felt unnecessary. I still love her as an author tho 😂🥰
This book was a slow start for me. I‘m not sure if it‘s because the chapters are so long at the beginning but it took until about 60% to REALLY get into it. I can say I‘m super excited for book 2.. whenever it‘ll come out 😅😂
This book had a slow start but tore me apart by the end 😭❤️ Knowing Rebecca isn‘t going to start writing the next book until ATLEAST September (probably even later) is going to torture me 🙄🤣 I guess I‘ll just have to go another reread when the time comes 📚
What a nice heartwarming story about sisters, and the true value of family. After losing their mother, the sisters go their separate ways but with the recent death of their father, all the girls come back to their hometown. This was exactly what I wanted it to be, a light read between my big chunky books. 🤣
Looks like I‘ve been catnapped 🤣 Onyx Storm is in the other side of my living room so I guess I‘ll just read another book for now 🙄
Just finished my reread and I‘m excited/scared to read the next one 🤣❤️ I feel like Rebecca is gonna mess me up in the next book since I don‘t know what‘s coming anymore 😭🥲
ft. Crumb mid yawn 🥰
I had SO much fun rereading this book 😭❤️ I can‘t wait to jump into iron flame and continue my reread before reading onyx storm for the first time 🥹📚
With it being Onyx Storms release date I‘m debating starting a reread.. but I also want to continue my throne of glass reread… but I also read a chapter of quicksilver and that seems really good 🤣🤪📚
This book took me a couple chapters to get into but then I was HOOKED!! This book made me feel all the emotions and I absolutely loved it 😭❤️ I‘m disappointed that there isn‘t another book but still absolutely loved this one.
Compared to some of the authors other books I found this one slightly predictable. I felt like I knew who it was from the start and was right.. I just didn‘t know exactly why. I really enjoy Kevin O‘nrien books but I wouldn‘t start with this one 😂📚
This book started slow but was sooo worth it in the end! I can‘t wait to read more from this author 🥹 I read this for a book club I‘m in and I‘m so grateful!! It‘s on kindle unlimited 🥰
Awwwe, 6 years of fun 🥰
This book is the the last one in the series and it fell kind of flat for me. I was waiting for huge plot twists and like my versions I was coming up with better than anything that actually happened 😂 I love all of Freida McFaddens other books so I‘ll definitely be reading more but with the series was wrapped up better 🥲
This book was really good! Had me hooked from the start. It did become slightly predictable but even with that I was curious as to the how instead of the who. Free in the audible plus section 😁
This was a short story to fill in the blank between book 2 and 3 and it was pretty good! Not my favourite but it definitely served it‘s purpose by allowing us a glimpse at the wedding 🥰
This book had me hooked the whole time!! 🤯 I truly did not see any of that coming! Gosh I truly love Freida McFadden 📚 This is the second book in the series.
This true crime audible original had me hooked from the start! I had heard of this case before but the way it was presented here was absolutely amazing. RIP to all the victims ❤️
This book 🤯 so many twists and turns, it has me hooked from the start! Effie and her husband love to play twisted games with people, how can that possibly go wrong? 🥲 It also has multiple narrators, which I love 🥰 This one is free in the audible plus section 📚
This is my first read of 2025 and I really enjoyed it! It‘s not my first Freida McFadden and definitely won‘t be my last either📚I get why this series has so much hype! I actually finished it yesterday and hopped into the second one right away 🤣 forgot to review haha
This book was slightly predictable but still good. I wouldn‘t buy it but I enjoyed listening for free in the audible plus catalogue 😁 If you have audible it‘s worth the listen 📚
So much fun rereading the series!! I can‘t wait for my favourite character to join the series 🥹❤️ #catsoflitsy
I got the Throne of Glass box set so of course I need to do a reread 🥹❤️ I still fell inlove with the story and cried as much as the first time ❤️ Last time I listened to all the audiobooks so it‘ll be fun reading the physical copies 📚#catsoflitsy
I completely understand why this is a classic 🥹❤️ what a fun way to teach a life lesson 🥰🎄
This is the second book in the series. I love Christmas murder mysteries now 🥹 These books are so cute and cozy even though they are murder mysteries 😂❤️📚🎄 I love the town of mistletoe and all it‘s inhabitants 🥰
Holly Returns home for the holidays after her fiancé cheats on her. When home the neighbourhood Grinch ends up being murdered at her family farm. Who can be to blame for this tragedy when so many people in town have recently harassed by the victim?? ??
I‘m enjoying these Christmas romances so much 🥰 they‘re perfect background stories while I clean and prepare for the holidays ❤️ Merry wants to take over her family‘s farm and meets the new hire, Clark. I wonder what will happen next 😬🤣 If you have audible they are free in the plus catalogues 📚
This was exactly what I wanted it to be 🥰 A cutesy holiday romance 🎄 Bestfriends pretend to date in order to make their exes jealous… I wonder what happens 🙈 I can‘t wait to listen to the next 2 in the trilogy 🤣📚
This book took me longer than his others to finish. I found myself putting it down a lot and getting distracted by my phone and other things. I also felt like for the first time it was kinda predictable, not everything, but definitely a few of the twists. With that being said, Harlan Coben is still one of my all time fav authors 🥰📚
#catsoflitsy
This is the 4th book in the series and a little hard to get through. Everyone on Reddit says to polish through cause it‘s setting up the next 2 books and they were right.. the last 4 chapters of the book definitely got the ball rolling! I‘m excited and scared to start the 5th book in the series 📚
It‘s the end of the year and I‘m finally feeling like I can sit down and read a book. This year has been so busy with finishing school, going on a month long trip to Scotland, getting a classroom, having to leave my class due to being sick, best friend having my god daughter and I‘m sure I‘m missing some key events 😂
With that being said I‘m excited to be back and participating in one of my fav litsy traditions! Here‘s my #bookspin Dec list 🥰
The 3rd book in the original trilogy. This book had me on the edge of my seat!! It was so good with lots of twists! I‘m excited to see what the next three books bring 🥰 I‘m hoping it will be the same characters, I‘ll find out soon 📖
This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! It‘s rare but I may have like this one more than the first? Hard to say since they were both so good 🥰 I can‘t wait to see what happens in the next book 😬📖
I can see why this series has so much hype! A mix of hunger games and the Martian. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to continuing the series 🥰
This book was a little slow to start but the last 100 pages were pretty good. I‘m going to read the next one in the series and hope it‘s got more going on 😂
A family is murdered, when the man convicted for the murders escapes and takes another family hostage.. what could possibly go wrong? 😅 I was gripped and really enjoyed this one! It probably could have been a bit shorter but that‘s okay 🥰
It started off really slow but once it got going I was hooked! And I loved the way the author chose to end the book ❤️ great book for chores and errands 🥰
I think it‘s time to switch up authors. I‘m finding it slightly predictable and repetitive when reading so many in a row 😅 Still really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone that enjoys a psychological thriller 😁
